Learning in 2021
Funded May 5, 2021This project provided a whiteboard/marker/eraser set for every child and a document reader that allowed me to provide high-quality instruction for my first graders during our Zoom meetings. This year as we return to full day in person instructions with less restrictions, I plan to have these resources available to all the students during class lessons and independent work time.
The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card provided me with ready-to-use resources that supplemented my lessons and supported my instruction. I have found wonderful resources that I will continue to use in this new school year!

Funded Jan 18, 2021This project provided a whiteboard/marker/eraser set for every child and a document reader that allows me to provide high-quality instruction for my first graders during our Zoom meetings and in class instruction.
The whiteboards are used to model lessons and display their work. The students really enjoy displaying their work on the whiteboards. I use the Osmo set as a document reader to share stories and text, show examples, and model worksheets. Later, when we are allowed, I will use the Osmo set for independent centers for early finishers. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card provides me with ready-to-use resources that supplement my lessons and support my instruction.

Funded Oct 23, 2020My students will use these math and science manipulatives to help review skills in small groups and in pairs. I hope that these Answer Boards and Insects can provide more opportunities for fostering independence, teamwork, discussion, and responsibility. Since class sizes have increased in the past two years, my students' educational needs have increased also. Having enough manipulatives for the larger class size will allow me to still work effectively in small groups as they work in pairs and teams. These activities also focus on key skills in math, discussion procedures, problem-solving, and science.
These new manipulatives will allow for these small groups, pair-share, and independent work. They will foster and build mathematical thinking and scientific investigations.

My students are always so excited to use and interact with my Teachers Pay Teachers activities.
However, I can't forget that they need art and a break from their screens. I'm using the watercolor paint sets and fun art papers to provide those wonderful opportunities for the relaxation of making art.”

Funded Aug 19, 2020I am currently teaching and communicating with my students via Zoom (video conference) and in person instruction. I am using the standing desk converter, which provides the flexibility of being able to stand and sit while I teach daily.
I am able to deliver hours of instruction in comfort, which is a relief because now I teach more hours due to our new Hybrid and Virtual Cohorts.
I am also grateful for the monitor filters to assist me while I deliver video lessons from home and school. My increased screen time to deliver and design lessons were taking a toll on my eyesight causing fatigue and headaches. That's where the monitor filters have greatly helped to reduce my exposure to blue light of computer screens. I use two monitors when I deliver directed lessons via Zoom and in person. Also, I use my own laptop to log in to demonstrate as a student during live lessons and lesson design when I'm away from my desk.
Overall, the stand-up desk and monitor filters have been essential for my daily instruction.”

Funded Jan 31, 2012Thank you for your interest in our class. Your generous donations and time have really meant so much to us. The kids are so thrilled with the centers and the iPad accessories. They are using the centers for reading, math, and science review. The centers allow them to learn how to work independently and responsibly. They are using them during independent work time as I meet with others in small groups to better meet my students' needs. The iPad accessories come in handy as I use the iPad daily for review, Internet searches, testing, and reading. We are all so appreciative and amazed by all our donors for their help to reach our class project goal.”
