Our first graders are back for full day and in-person learning! Please help me give our first grade students a color printer for vocabulary words, visuals for math, fluency stories, writing tools, etc. Bringing the classroom work and student work to life inspires students to read, write, and explore.
This specific group of students were tasked with learning online at the age of five and six for the past 20 months with only an iPad screen. Daily pictorial input, colorful illustrations, and technology tools are used now in our classroom but we do not have access to print in color near our classrooms. This proves to be challenging with many students suffering from tremendous learning loss and not having access to these tools at their homes.
Learning loss compacted with students day to day challenges (economically disadvantaged, English Language Learner, poverty, special needs, etc.... ).Help me bring our first grade classrooms to life with bright vibrant colors to brighten students days.
