  • Little Scholars Need Literacy Learning Tools

    Thank you thank you thank you! My students and I are so excited about receiving these wonderful tools. They have already started to put them to good use. During guided reading groups and literacy centers the students are using these amazing tools to complete tasks that are tailored just for them to improve their reading skills.     I would love to tell you that my trip to RCA was a good one but I just can't because it was so much more than that... it was life changing. I learned so much from classroom observations, workshops with teachers, and even from spending time with the students.

    Since returning from RCA my class and I are FIRED UP! I have already implemented several techniques for motivating and engaging my students and they are LOVING it (and so am I)! One of many quotes that stuck with me "We need to make school the place to be for kids, not the place they HAVE to be" drives me daily.

    I will never be able to fully explain how thankful I am for your generosity but I hope that the change I make in my students this year and every year to come will be a start!”
