I work with preschoolers ages 3 through 5 with mild to moderate disabilities. Currently I have 18 students. My numbers continue to grow throughout the year as we identify children who require the support of my class. All of my students have a range of abilities and it is my job to tap into their interests in order to help them shine and progress. Most of my students have difficulty with understanding and using language, due to a combination of their disabilities and learning English as a second language. In addition, I have students with autism who have difficulty with social skills. My class is a language enriched class that supports the development of the whole child in developmentally appropriate ways.
