Rise and Shine Binders
Funded Sep 10, 2014My class cannot thank you enough for supporting our classroom! These materials have made our mornings more organized and meaningful. My students are able to come in and enjoy their breakfasts while getting a jump start on their learning at the same time!
My students anxiously come in and can't wait to use their binders to solve our secret word of the day, build a greater sense of numbers, and work with partners on the things that each student needs to work on. They are very upset if they have to miss out on their binder time!
Thank you for your generous support. My class loves learning this way. They are learning to help each other with what each student needs. You have made a class of Kindergarteners very happy to come to school!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Irwin
Star Authors And Illustrators Need Materials
Funded Jun 22, 2012Words cannot express how much your donations have aided our writing experiences. While the importance of early writing experiences have been well documented, the reality is that not everyone shares the same kinds of writing experiences early in life. Your donations have given us the opportunity to share writing with students who would not have been able to participate in this part of development.
My students have enjoyed being able to independently access a variety of writing materials. They get to have a wide variety of options to choose from while they are practicing their skills to become even better authors.
Thanks to you we are now Kindergarten authors and illustrators!”

Funded Apr 26, 2012Words cannot express how much your donations changed our learning experiences. It is obvious how different every students needs are when learning. Your donations have given us the opportunity to provide alternative seating to students so they can concentrate.
I have been amazed with how much a little movement can help those students who need the most help with learning. We have been able to stay as a group and focus on our learning in ways that could not happen without our stability balls.
Thanks to you we are now learning even more in Kindergarten.”

Mrs. Irwin
Helping Everyone Access their Inner Learners
Funded Oct 20, 2011Thank you so much for your generosity! With your help, my students were able to get some well loved sensory items. These items helped many students be able to calm themselves. By doing so, they were able to focus more attention on their learning tasks.
Everyone has some kind of inner need. As adults we are able to find other ways to fulfill these needs, like tapping a pencil. Children have not learned these coping techniques yet and often need stronger input to help them find a balance. These materials have really helped them balance and focus on their reading!
Thank you for all you have done to help my students become better learners”

Mrs. Irwin

Funded Jun 8, 2011While nothing can come close to expressing my appreciation for you, I hope this note will help you know the difference you have made in the lives of my students. Reading is truly the foundation for everything. Unfortunatley not everyone is lucky enough to have the same reading experiences early on in life.
You have provided all the students who come through my room with the opportunity to gain some of these vital reading experiences. They now have many different options of books to read that are just right for them to read.
Thanks to you we have gone from Kindergarteners who "can't read" to real readers. ”

Our listening stations are a popular choice during different parts of the day. These stations have made the students excited about different kinds of stories.
Thanks to you we are now Kindergarten critics who can discuss and compare different types of literature.”
