Our school is located in a middle class suburb-- some students come from privileged backgrounds, and others do not. I have 21 students in my fifth grade classroom, and I am a first year teacher. Additionally, I teach the other fifth grade students in the building for different subjects. I have English Language Learners and students who receive accommodations in my classroom.
