My students are wiggle worms. They learn best when they are given the option to sit where they feel will help them be most successful in their learning environment. This project will give my students more flexible seating options and tools (whiteboards/clipboards). They also struggle with reading. I am a firm believer that if a student has the ability to choose the book they are reading, they will be engaged and want to read. These books will give them more opportunities to find books they love. Additionally, the calculators and headphones are much needed in my SPED classroom. Many students can not afford to buy and bring their own so having a class set would help out tremendously.
