Fill Us Up!
Funded Aug 21, 2012Thank you so much for funding my project. This means so much to me and to the students at our school. Each time we study science and are able to complete our hands on labs I will be thinking of you and your generosity. I wish you could see the students' faces when they discover the power of magnetism or learn that they are made of matter. Learning with real items is so much more powerful then reading about it. My kids come to class each day excited to learn more about the world around them. They are beginning to look at themselves as scientists and it is all because of your generosity. My students will be able to take away real and meaningful learning in the area of Science and hopefully be inspired to pursue a career in science later in life.
Thank you once more from the bottom of my heart!”

Science To Go Refills- Electricity!
Funded Aug 21, 2011My students and I are so thankful for your generous contributions that made our circuit cars and other electrical projects possible! I wish you could have been there to see my students' faces light up when they correctly wired their circuit projects. Each student had such a wonderful experience. The hands on experiments took them far this year. The equipment made it possible for each student to experience wiring and rewiring different circuits. They were able to work whole class and also able to create individual experiments during their free time. They knew all the electrical parts and how to trouble shoot a circuit that wasn't working. They learned so much more than they could have ever got from their text books.
Without your donations there is no way we could have funded this project. I thank you again from the bottom of my very grateful heart. ”

Funded Oct 11, 2011I just wanted to express my thanks for your generous donations. My students have so enjoyed using all the trays, supplies, and especially the scales! You have supplied materials that have helped me set up numerous science inquiries across the grade levels. Just this year you have reached nearly all the children in my classes. These are things we have wanted and needed for quite a while and I thank you for helping me achieve my dream of acquiring them.
Each year the budget gets tighter and we continue to do without. Without folks such as yourselves many children would be reading about science instead of exploring science for themselves. My students thank you and I thank you, from the bottoms of our hearts.”

Rock On!
Funded Sep 24, 2010I am so thankful for the materials you supplied for our study on rocks. The students were so excited to see the variety of rocks we were able to obtain. Both my 4th graders and my 2nd graders were engaged in observing, depicting, and analyzing the rocks. We used them for a variety of lessons in our units. The best part is that next year I will have these same rocks to once again motivate new students in my classes.
Being able to actually examine the rocks that appear in their textbooks, makes the lessons so much more meaningful to the students. Holding a piece of obsidian goes so much farther in building understanding then just looking at a picture of it. I am certain that the addition of these materials has greatly enriched my students' learning.
None of this would be possible without your very generous donations. You are heroes to all of us and we are all so grateful for your generosity.”

Funded Sep 13, 2010My fourth graders and I are so thankful for your generous contributions that made our circuit cars possible! I wish you could have been there to see my students' faces light up at the idea of making their very own car. Each student had such a wonderful experience. This is the first time we have ever been able to have every student make a car. In the past we worked in groups, and while it was fun and exciting, it was nothing like this time! The pride in ownership these students had was amazing. Each child worked extra hard to make sure that their car would be able to run. By the end of this activity every child knew what a complete circuit was. They new all the parts and how to trouble shoot a circuit that wasn't working. They learned so much more than they could have ever got from their text books.
Without your donations there is no way we could have funded this project. I thank you again from the bottom of my very grateful heart.”
