Help My Students Explore Robotics With These Robots
Funded Nov 1, 2024Thank you so much for helping to fund this project. I hope that this gives many students the opportunity to work with different technology. Now, more than ever, students need the chance to practice perseverance while using robotic technology systems. Robots are a way to do that. Thank you again for helping to make this possible for our deserving students! Make sure to be on the lookout for pictures of my students with their robots!”

Funded Apr 26, 2024Thank you for supporting our magnet program with donating so we could supply We Do Lego's for our Robotics elective. This program is also used by other electives and core classes. Students in grades 1-5 are learning to code in a fun way, pushing students thinking outside of the box and challenging all students in a variety of ways.
When the students started using the legos, they were so excited! We even had some students volunteer to share their creations to perspective families and those who were just newly accepted into our GT program. With this program and these skills, we're pushing students to use problem solving and leadership skills, creating, communicating, critical thinking, and connecting towards a greater good: learning for their future. We are always trying to build our students up as many of them will hold jobs that aren't even invented yet. Having them work hard, and continue to persevere will get them to be them best selves! Thank you so much for supporting us!”

We Do Robotics
Funded Feb 21, 2024Thank you so much for donating money towards the We Do Robotics grant for our school. We are a public magnet school with different electives that students choose to enroll in to further their interests. Robotics has been a VERY positive elective for students in Kindergarten-5th grade. It's been difficult to stay up to date with new technology and the Lego robotics technology that we have is no longer made. The small motor in our kits has broken and now the whole kit doesn't work. We have been in need of new Lego robotics materials for a while and this kit will help so many students as it's constantly used in several electives.
Students are learning engineering and math skills by coding the robots. They also work in small teams so there needs to be precise communication with each step they're taking in their robot.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful gift. We greatly appreciate it!”

Mrs. Callahan
