Everyone learns through play. Even as adults, when we get the latest iPhone or gadget, we don't read the instructions first. Instead, we open the box, turn it on, and PLAY with it. We only reach for instructions when prompted with a problem or question we find. Learning is an experience, an action, not a worksheet or lecture. Materials donated will enhance: SCIENCE: Colorful sand for the sand and water table LITERACY: Rocks and wooden cubes with letters carved into them, for the students to FEEL the letters MATH: Legos to count, sort, and create with ...the possibilities are endless!
