Throughout my years of teaching I have learned that comfortable students are engaged students. I have also learned that the smallest of changes can make a big difference in classroom environments and can help students feel empowered to learn. My students do get out of their seats throughout the day to keep their brains actively engaged, but when they need to sit, it would help to keep them focused if their chairs would not creak, have cracks, or screws that fall out because they are stripped, and are actually the right size for our growing kids. Comfortable students are calm, focused, and productive. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. The products I have selected will help my students by giving them new and comfortable seating options so that they are more focused on learning. I have seen how being comfortable in the classroom can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that comfortable seating will help us grow even more!
