Each day my students, who live in poverty with limited access to basic needs, are excited about coming to school. While the families in our community are phenomenal, many struggle with making each day better than the last. As a result of severe hardships, our communities place great expectations on our schools to provide students with the resources needed to receive a quality education. While it might not come easy, my students make the most out of every opportunity they receive. They are eager to learn new skills, build relationships with those next to them, and dream about a better tomorrow. In my classroom, my students realize they are not alone in their struggles. By creating an inclusive classroom environment, my students truly feel like a united family and understand the importance of being there for one another. Thank you for believing in my students and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
