    I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your generous support of our dance program and classroom. Thanks to your kindness, we were able to secure essential supplies, a much needed printer and ink, and exciting rewards and prizes that have already made a tremendous impact on our learning environment.

    The printer and ink have been game changers, allowing us to print resources, worksheets and student projects with ease, something that has made daily learning more efficient and interactive.

  • Classroom Basics for My Far From Basic Dance Scholars

    My dance scholas are enthusiastic and ready to move and perform at any time. I am always looking to provide materials that will enrich my students' dance classes. My students have used the new resources for dance class and dance games, dance bulletin boards, movement projects and school performances.

    My students were so excited when they saw the new rewards and dance class journals, new show props, and dance games and activities for our dance club. I was also able to create new storage areas for our dance class, which helps our far from basic dance scholars thrive in our dance program.

    I will continue to motivate and develop my students love for dance and performing. We were able to produce a beautiful and well decorated winter dance showcases and we will be using these resources again for our spring dance showcases.

    We are so appreciative for the various resources that we were able to get through this project.”

  • Healthy, Happy, Moving Children

    Thank you for your donations. We are definitely happy, moving and more healthy now that we have these fun supplies and resources such as movement Bingo, parachutes and ribbons.

    My students were so excited to see and use new, fun materials for our movement classes. They want to move more and move longer now. Our parachutes bring us so much joy and exercise!

    We are considering using our ribbons in our annual school dance concert. We are also excited to use our ribbons for Lunar New Year! Thanks again for your generous donations.”

  • Growing Garden Memories

    Thank you so much for contributing to our gardening project! It means so much to our students and school community to be able to create a beautiful green space for our students and community to enjoy. We started our project in March and planted herbs seeds inside the greenhouse you provided. The students were so excited to get started.

    Shortly after our seeds were planted they began to sprout. The students were thrilled! Once it started to warm up we got to work weeding and cleaning up the garden. As you can see, we had our work cut out for us! The students loved the fact that they had their own gardening gloves and tools to use. After MANY long hours of hard work we were ready to get some plants in the ground! With your help we were able to create this flourishing and vibrant flower and herb garden. This was such a positive experience for everyone involved. It really helped give our students an understanding and an appreciation for nature. Thank you so much for making this all possible!   • Our 2021 First Grade Adventure Continues...

    What a year this has been. I moved into 1st grade to teach this year, and my students have been hybrid/blended, remote, and finally full-time students. It's been a whirlwind of different styles of learning which require different supplies for each style. My students were partially virtual the last three months of the school year 2020. We are in school full time now and need a variety of supplies. I did not want to ask parents, many of them are unemployed or dealing with medical issues due to COVID.

    By supporting my project, you helped to improve and increase student learning habits, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

    After being hybrid, blended, remote, and finally now full-time, in-school students, my students need a sense of normalcy, being able to use their own supplies and books.

    Having more supplies and books in our classroom allows my students to not only have more of a variety of activities to choose from, but they will thrive and grow in all the right ways.”

  • Social and Emotional Learning Skills for Our Leaders of Tomorrow

    What a year this has been. I moved into 1st grade to teach this year, and I needed an updated classroom library filled with books that help us understand and deal with many feelings and questions that last year has brought up. Every morning we discuss and dive into Social Emotional Learning issues. In first grade it can be difficult to discuss antiracism, inclusion, diversity, or social justice. Thanks to your donations I have been able to enrich my students' bodies and minds with children's books that help explain, explore and promote these important and challenging life issues.

    After a year like this one, even adults are not sure about their emotions and how they can deal with these emotions and life issues. My first grade students are developing and learning to think in a challenging time. Having these books in our classroom library that explore, explain and promote issues such as equity, inclusion, diversity and antiracism have allowed my students to not only know about these ideas and concepts but they have begun to connect with each other and cultivate strong beliefs and a sense of mattering in this world.”

  • I Like Reading Books and I Cannot Lie!

    After being blended students for so long, every other day in school and then on line, most of my students have been glued to their tablets many days without being able to hold a book. Having more books in our classroom library allows my students to not only have more of a variety of books to choose from, but also they are now able to take books home to read safely.

    My students use these exciting and entertaining resources to practice their phonetic and sight word reading skills. Their reading levels have increased steadily and their confidence and love for reading has increased too.

  • Dance to the Beat of Your Own Drum

    Thank you so much for the donations of drumsticks, music sticks and ribbons. We have been using our new resources to explore movement and rhythm activities. Our students in the lower grades, K-2, have been enjoying the ribbons during end of class improvisations. Our upper grade students, specifically the 4th graders have enjoyed improvising rhythms and creating group cheers and songs.

    The students were so excited to see their new resources. There were squeals of joy from all of my students. The new resources really helped to motivate their creativity.

    Our students will be using the ribbons in our Winter Dance Concert this month. In the spring the upper grades will be using the drum sticks to create their own rhythmic choreography.
