• Now We Know Our ABCs!

  Thank you so much for the generous gift to my classroom! My students are enjoying these alphabet resources immensely! These things are absolutely perfect for this year as I have so many students who did not have any prior experience in any school setting and very few had any knowledge of letters or sounds before we started. So these activities are providing wonderful daily FUN practice.

  It is so heartwarming to see these kids engage in and enjoy learning with each other. Last year definitely taught me to appreciate the little things in my classroom!”

  Thank you so much for your generous gift to my classroom this year. It was certainly the most unusual and challenging year of my twenty-one years so far and these resources definitely had a positive impact.

  My students are so open and honest when it comes to discussing and valuing our diversity. These books opened doors to wonderful conversations. Sometimes I would hear them discussing these important topics amongst themselves while working and I would beam with pride at their open-minded thinking. Kids really do think and form opinions with their hearts.

• World of Color

  Thank you very much for your generous gift to my classroom this year. This was such a challenging and unusual school year and gifts like these make such a difference!

  These art materials were invaluable when my students returned to in-person learning this Spring. We had missed out on so much-- and art was an amazing way to bring everyone together and give my students an outlet for creativity while teaching basic classroom rules and routines. My students absolutely love anything having to do with art and they especially loved the tempera paint.

• Super Centers

  Thank you so much for your generosity to my classroom. This was such a challenging and unusual year! These materials made a huge difference to my students.

  Having their own centers they could access as needed was invaluable. When they completed a task they could grab their binder and choose a center to work on. This helped with the distancing requirements as well as fostered a sense of autonomy and independence dance in my students. They really enjoyed getting to choose what center they wanted to do each day!

• A Place for Everyone

  Thank you very much for your generous gift to my classroom. These materials have been especially useful since we returned to in-person learning recently. I have been able to provide each student with their own tool kit since we cannot share materials. Each student has their own pencil box with everything they need in a location that is easy for them to access throughout the day.

• Writing Is Exciting!

As you can imagine, having the proper writing tools at home for virtual learning was absolutely essential and made a tremendous difference for my students. They began using their journals, pencils, and crayons early in the school year and are now able to see the growth they've made during this important year of learning to write and illustrate. This was also such a simple thing to send home for them to have on-hand every time we needed to write so they did not have to search for their own paper and writing tools.

• Whiteboard Magic

  Thank you so much for your generous gift to my classroom! As you can imagine, white boards and markers have been an essential learning tool during this unprecedented school year. My students have used them at home during distance learning for quick-checks as we worked together virtually. Now, most of my students are learning in person and we continue to use the white boards as they are accustomed to doing. My remote students continue to use them daily as well.

  Such a simple item makes an enormous difference in a classroom and having this tool is something we appreciate every day!”

• Magic Carpet Ride

  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful gift! Your gift or a beautiful new carpet for my classroom is so amazing! I was just recently able to welcome my students in person and that carpet really helped make the classroom feel inviting. The defined spaces for students are wonderful for social distancing since it makes it easy to define a student's space. I look forward to the day when I can have my whole class sit on this beautiful carpet for our learning time, but for now we are thrilled to have it for whatever purpose it can serve!”

• Our Diverse Classroom is a Family

  Thank you again for your enormous generosity to my classroom. These beautiful books have been so appreciated, even in a virtual way. Since we are virtual I am unable to take photos of my students using the books but I have read several of them aloud in our virtual meetings and they have been extremely popular. I love seeing the diverse faces in my class represented in these wonderful books!

  A favorite has been "I Am Every Good Thing" and has led to some extensive discussions about how we can all be our best selves every day. My students love to come up with ways to make the world a better place!”

• Wiggle to Learn

  Funded Aug 12, 2019

  Thank you so much for your support for my classroom this year. These wobble chairs have been an amazing addition to our learning environment.

  These chairs allow the children to move...while sitting still. It is surprising how much this helps them stay in their seats! That is a difficult feat for most students in Kindergarten. Their bodies are made to move.

  Once we established the rules for using these special chairs my students understood it was a privilege to have fun seating and they came to appreciate the opportunity to use them. Our principal loves the chairs too, and always makes a point of sitting in one when he stops by our room. Thank you for these wonderful wobble chairs!”
