  • Transforming Teachable Moments

    Funded May 24, 2024

Thank you very much for the materials to help the standards come alive. My students enjoyed the first two activities and were completely engaged. The construction worker supplies allowed for a wonderful area and perimeter culminating activity, while the the fractions unit was enhanced by the pizza shop supplies.

Allowing the students to work with real world situations enables all to acquire the skills in a manner that is meaningful. Without the generous donations this would not be possible. The students benefited greatly.”

  • Molding History

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you for your donation to the classroom. The students really enjoyed molding themselves as a representation. They will also be using this in science and other artistic forms. You provided the creativity and the incentive to sit and really explore the artistic sides.

Giving teachers better way to allow for this exploration is important especially when materials are limited. Student displayed how they saw themselves without words and allowed a safe space for expression and ignited conversation.”

  • A Place for Our STEM Kits

    Funded Oct 10, 2023

We were so excited to get our STEM items but had nowhere to organize them and keep them safe. We all know that keeping track of small items is key for making them not only last for everyone's enjoyment but also accessible for use and inviting. Students have enjoyed the "everything has it's place" organization. They are not hunting for items and know how to put them back quickly and efficiently. I am thankful for the cart and bins as they make all our lives easier. It also looks pleasing and inviting. Anyone can easily come in and know how to use the cart. It is sturdy enough to live through 24 3rd graders. Thank you to the donors for giving our classroom this additional facet.”

  • Communication is Key

    Funded Sep 11, 2023

The impact of home school communication cannot be compared. This binders have been an consistent part of our daily classroom life. They organization has helped students bring and take things back and forth. It has also been a place where calendars, notes and even homework resources have found a safe home. They are not easily lost and if misplaced they are readily returned. The ease of use is beyond of what I expected and I see this as an essential use and will continue using in the future. Thank you again.”

  • Dressing for the Job You Want

    Funded Oct 1, 2023

The lab coats were a huge success. The students feel like real scientists, especially with the personalized badges. This has made our steam experiments and labs more engaging and something to look forward to.

A wonderful parent stepped into the picture and designed a wonderful logo and ironed on each and every one. I feel very fortunate to be supported in such a positive way that impacts my students and invigorates me further to reach beyond the expected. The student see Science on the agenda and know that they get to wear these coats and their whole attitude changes.”

  • Technology Experiences Without Computers

    Funded Oct 9, 2023

Thank you so much for the items. It truly has become one of the students favorite things to do and find their niche in. The unstructured format allows them to be able to partake in their personal interest and explore. The students know that they are free to delve into whatever activity they want within the realm . They also took part in the construction of the materials and took ownership. They love to explore and they know that they can come to the cart and work on any project.

I know that this could not have come to fruition without your generous donations. We are very grateful and I know my future classes will benefit as well.”

  • Keeping The Line Between Home and School Open

    Funded Jun 25, 2023

Thank you for your donation. the ability to have a uniform way to allow for my students to have a way to travel to and from school and not worry about loose papers. Parents now also have access to a safe spot to place important resources to help the students in their homework. Students are able to be more effective in their executive functioning and take responsibility for their own organization. The large size allows for less chance of misplacing important paperwork. We are helping these students become ready for the upper grade standards.”

  • Sit, Play, Learn, Share and Stretch Out

    Funded Oct 11, 2022

My students love the comfortable rug where they find time to lounge while listening to read aloud, work on their projects, for just use to get a new environment when necessary. They understand that the classroom is an extension of their home and we work towards doing tis everyday. The classroom is not simply a room with desks and chairs but a community of learners where they know their responsibility and control over their learning environment has grown to be part of their decision making as well.”

Keeping an organized spaces prepares them for their next journey in middle school. Every visitor and substitute comments on the ease of finding the items needed in a timely manner.

    Funded Jan 26, 2018

Thank you for your generosity. This new form of technology has been a hit. I can't wait to explore all the features even more. The students have been more engaged in activities that may have seemed old and tired and the Ipevo has breathed new life into them. I really appreciate all that you have done for our classroom. These programs are sometimes the only way we get resources such as these in our rooms. My students are very excited and has put a good cap on our school year. Thank you very much.”

The majority of my students come from limited income families where English is a second language. Their daily lives usually don't involve anything outside their immediate community. Parents are eager and want success for their children but are also limited by their lack of knowledge of the English language, lack of time that could be dedicated to extracurricular activities and homework(due to multiple jobs), and lack of resources. Even so, they have complete respect for educators and try their best to help their children succeed.
