  • Cyber Subscriptions

    Funded Sep 9, 2024

Thank you for supporting my cyber classroom. These digital tools are essential for helping my students engage and learn effectively in a virtual environment. Many of these resources are particularly valuable for my English language learners, as they offer built-in translation features that assist with understanding content and overcoming language barriers. Your support is making a significant difference in their educational experience, allowing them to thrive and achieve their academic goals. Thank you once again for your generosity and commitment to their success.”

  • Virtual Learning Tools

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous support towards my virtual classroom. Having the right tools to teach is crucial, whether it's in-person learning or online. There are several ways to implement online learning, but with the wide range of tech tools available, it's great to take advantage of them. These virtual tools will make my lessons more interactive and engaging for my students as they are learning from home. The cost of subscribing to multiple applications can be quite high. It is your generosity as a donor that has enabled me to continue using these amazing tools with my students as we learn virtually.

Thank you again for your support.”

  • Rewards for Students

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous support of my virtual classroom. Having the right tools to teach is just as important whether in-person learning or online. There are multiple ways to implement online learning but one challenge is how to make students feel valued and rewarded in a virtual environment. In an in-person classroom, rewards can take the form of small toys or candy but this is not always possible when teaching remotely. These gift cards have made rewarding students easier and more convenient when needing to mail items to their homes. My students were very excited to get their gift cards and know that their hard work has been recognized.

    Thank you again.”

My school district is large. We have 13 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 2 high schools. I teach 8th grade history at one of those middle schools. Our district is very diverse and has many socioeconomic classes. Looking at the district a large portion of is from lower economic classes and funding has to be stretched between many buildings we are not as affluent as other neighboring districts. As a result, things like technology are often not priorities in the district. So while other school districts are handing out tablets, laptops, and other updated technology, or districts is struggling to maintain a single outdated computer lab. My students love to learn and try new things. They want to be engaged in through technology and I would love to be able to give them that opportunity every day.
