I teach Kindergarten in a small school in Missouri. My school is a school wide title 1 school. This year I have more homeless children than ever before. My classroom is very diverse with several ESL students whose parents do not speak English very well. This makes it hard for them to read to their student in English. Many of my children miss the opportunity to read to an adult or have an adult read to them.
