  • Books for Biographies - How People Change the World!

    Funded Jun 14, 2021

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of biography books to our classroom. Your support is truly making a difference in the lives of our elementary students.

Thanks to your kindness, our students now have access to a wonderful array of biographies that will inspire and educate them. These books are more than just stories; they are windows into the lives of remarkable individuals who have made significant impacts on the world. By introducing our students to these role models, you are helping to broaden their horizons and encourage them to dream big.

Your generosity not only enriches our library but also supports our mission to foster a love for reading and learning in our young scholars. It is through contributions like yours that we are able to provide our students with valuable resources and create an environment where they can thrive academically and personally.

We are truly grateful for your commitment to education and for believing in the importance of providing young minds with inspirational and educational materials. Thank you once again for your support and for making a positive impact on our students' lives.”

  • The Need to Succeed in Reading

    Funded Jan 23, 2022

Thank you for you generous donation. Due to your donation, our classroom was able to grow in our reading and writing this school year! The students greatly enjoyed learning about reading and writing through these fun ways. The Osmo games were able to provide timely feedback to help me see where the holes in their learning were. Also, the power pens were a fun tool for the students to use as well to make learning fun! The writing journals were inspiring to those students who have a hard time know how to start their writing.”

  • Building Our 2nd Grade Library

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you again for your generosity in building our classroom library. My students have greatly benefited from having them in our classroom this year. They have learned to live reading and explore new worlds. This year since we know have a classroom library I was able to have the students read aloud their favorite books to the class. This helped their classmates want to read a book so proficiently that they could be able to read it to the class. It has been an amazing experience watching my student grow their love of reading so much that they want to share that with each other.”

  • Read All About It! Scholastic News for 2nd Grade!

    Funded Apr 13, 2021

Thank you again for your gracious donations for our Scholastic News. This has been greatly appreciated not only by second grade but by our sixth grade buddies as well. Having these scholastic newsletters has increased exposure to different areas. This allows students to gain more background knowledge and exposure to different types of texts. Not only do we use these in second grade, but we also use them with our sixth grade buddies. These have benefited them by introducing then to different topics that they would not normally be exposed to either. This is helpful to have those meaningful conversations during their buddy time.”

Thank you so much for your donations for these resources. Students have been loving having them in the morning to use for their creativity. This has been especially helpful in having them problem solve when designing. These supplies will be very useful for students to be part of STEAM labs to grow their curiosity. STEAM supplies will provide students with materials to explore and create a variety of things.
