• Fun In The Sun

  Thank you for your generous donations! We've been having fun jamming to music during our recess time. We also use our speakers to learn- we've learned how to skip count by 10's and 5's, and are currently using it to learn our long vowel sounds and the value of coins through our learning songs. We used the speakers for our Spring Fest celebration and will also use it for our End of the Year party. Music gets us moving, learning and having fun. Thank you for your kindness! • Pandemic Problem Solving

  Thank you so much for your love and generosity! We use our seat sacks to keep our areas nice and organized, and clean. Students keep their journals, white boards and manipulatives in their seat sacks. We use the dry erase board to practice our spelling and sight words, to problem solve in math and much more.

  We thank you for helping our class during these hard times, where there are many restrictions and challenges. Thank you for making it a little easier for us to learn and grow safely.”

• Clean, Safe & Happy

  Thank you for helping to keep the classroom clean and safe! I have used the cleaning supplies on a daily basis to clean the surfaces. Students love the "magical" soap dispenser where they just move their hands around and soap comes out. The air purifier is on day to day to help keep our air clean and germ free.

  School has had many challenges lately due to Covid, however I thank you for making it a little bit easier for us. In our classroom, we feel safe, clean and happy! We appreciate your kindness.”

• Celebrating Diversity With Empathy

  These books have truly impacted my students! We have traveled back in time and to the other side of the world, learned important lessons of kindness and acceptance, learned problem solving skills and have enjoyed every second of it. These books are diverse and show students experiences of others they may not encounter everyday through words and pictures. Other books show how far one act of kindness can go. My students truly do act more kindly towards each other after our readings. We are so grateful for these learning experiences!”

• Kinder GARDEN

  Thank you for your generous donations and much needed support. You have given us all the resources necessary to grow and care for a garden. Though we have been unable to begin the projects together as a class due to school closures, we will begin as soon as we are back in the classroom. I also have saplings, planted from the seeds, that I will use to teach, be that on Zoom or in the classroom. I have begun to use the compost to make soil for student use. We will use the soil to plant many seeds when we return. I thank you for giving my students the exposure to plants, growth and nature.”

• Kindergarten Is a Work of Art!

  It's so nice to know that an art project is now a heartbeat away. No need to order items, beg other teachers for supplies, go to the art room to get paper- we have all we need in our classroom! We thank you for helping to make our classroom an artistic, efficient and creative one! We have used our paints to finger paint valentines cards, paint and label parts of a tree, and do STEAM projects. Our paper cutter has made project preparation much quicker and the white paper has been used for everyday use. The markers have been used to make our anchor charts as well as student posters during center work. Thank you for your help and making our classroom a happier one!”

• Kindergarten Fun

  Thank you for all these amazing classroom resources! Our easel is used in literacy centers, where students create sentences out of magnet words, I use it to teach the sight words of the week during circle time, and we regularly create anchor sheets on it. The headphones are used weekly in the computer lab for I-ready lessons. The watercolors have been used for several art projects. During recess, students are perfecting their hula hooping skills with our new colorful hula hoops. Thank you for helping to ensure a successful and fun school year. • Creativity in Color

  Thank you for these amazing classroom items! We are using the color ink to print literacy center printouts, math manipulatives, writing paper, class pictures and more. The sentence strips are used to write important key words, sentences and make hats for special occasions. The chart paper is used regularly to create anchor sheets relating to addition strategies, nouns, night and day, etc. Thank you for helping our class and making this a successful and fun school year.   This has been the best gift ever! My students jump for joy when I tell them we are going to read one of our new Donorschoose books. Through the books, they have learned the importance of kindness, honesty, how to be a good friend, and so much more.
