• Paint, Play and Learn

  It's so nice to know that an art project is now a heartbeat away. No need to order items, beg other teachers for supplies, go to the art room to get paper- we have all we need in our classroom! We thank you for helping to make our classroom an artistic, efficient and creative one! We have used our poster paper to make alphabet posters, build neighborhoods, and do STEAM projects. We've also used them to make our anchor charts as well as student posters during center work. Thank you for your help and making our classroom a happier one!”

• Laptops for the Kids!

  The laptops have been of great assistance in our classroom. Students love to use the laptops and I love how I can differentiate instruction through the devices. During reading centers, every student uses the device in a different manner, some are learning their CVC words, others are playing sight word games, while some are reading e-books and I-ready. This is all based on the student reading level and needs. We also use the devices in the morning for i-ready time. We use the program to reinforce concepts learned in math and reading.

• Sunshine State Young Reader Books!

  This has been the best gift ever! My students jump for joy when I tell them we are going to read one of our new Sunshine State books. Through the books, they have learned the importance of kindness, honesty, how to be a good friend, and so much more. I am so grateful for this gift of reading, knowledge, comprehension and life lessons you have given my students. Though we have just started reading some of our books, we have many more books to read and lessons to learn. Thank you for caring and helping my students succeed! Reading is key!”

  Thank you for these amazing classroom items! We are using the color printer to print literacy center printouts, math manipulatives, writing paper, class pictures, our IB learner profile board and more. The humidifier helps to create a peaceful and nice smelling ambiance in the class. And in times of frustration or anger, the fidget toys and stress balls have come in handy for several of my students! Thank you for helping our class and making this a successful and fun school year.   Thank you for your generosity and kindness! We are on our way to a more organized classroom with our clear view latch boxes. We have sorted our art supplies, markers, crayons, pencils and so much more with our boxes. I use the stamp and pens to motivate students after writing or math time with happy faces and/or positive comments. It makes a huge difference when they receive that positive feedback with cute stamps! We are so grateful for these items. Thank you for helping to ensure a successful and fun school year. • Motivate and Create

  Thank you for our classroom supplies! We are so very grateful! We have used our fans plentiful of times after recess and when the A/C hasn't been working well (which has been a handful of times). The sharpener is used on a daily, helping us keep our writing sharp! We have made many anchor charts with our Mr. Sketch markers. We created an "essential agreement," the five senses and a nouns anchor sheet. Our stickers are the talk of the class, it truly motivates my students to try their best and get a "smelly" sticker! Thank you for helping my students have a fun and successful school year!”

  Thank you for your donations! We are enjoying our new collection of books! Students know when its reading time, students can get "comfy," take off their shoes and find a comfortable place around the classroom. Today, we read "We Don't Eat our Classmates" and then had a discussion about the importance of treating others how we want to be treated. We always reflect about the characters and discuss which IB learner profiles he/she portrays and which he/she lacks. We are learning life lessons, expanding our vocabulary and having fun all at once! We are so grateful for our new books and our kind donors!”
