In Support of a Well-Read and Creative Brain!
Funded Dec 3, 2024Thank you so much for your generous support! The new books you helped provide have truly transformed the reading experience in our classroom.
These texts have opened the door to important reading skills and life lessons. Students are learning how to think critically about characters' motivations, analyze themes that connect to their own lives, and identify literary devices like symbolism and figurative language. Even more, they're exploring how authors use their voices to highlight social issues and inspire change. T
Reading in our room is lively, collaborative, and joyful. Students read both independently. You'll hear students debating characters' choices, making predictions, or excitedly asking to read "just one more chapter." We've built a culture where books are talked about openly and with love!
Thanks to you, reading is not just an academic task anymore—it's an adventure, a mirror, and a way for students to find their voices. We're deeply grateful for your support.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Consiglio
