Several different learning strategies are used for teaching students with disabilities, including color coding. The colored pens will be used for this strategy. Additionally, when students correct their own work, they tend to get a better grasp of the idea being presented. The students will use the colored pens to correct their assignments and edit their writings. "Reach" is a book that I hope will motivate my student to set goals and reach for them. Students with many obstacles standing in the way of their success should benefit from studying about men who overcame barriers to become leaders. The art supplies will be used to complete projects during novel studies. Having these supplies in my classroom should allow my resource room students to "get" the literacy that is presented before them.
