Reeds Needed for Concert Band and Jazz Band students!
Funded Oct 17, 2024These high quality reeds have had a tremendous impact on the performance of my students. They sound so much better in rehearsals and in various performance settings. Students from Jazz Band and Concert Band use these reeds and we can hear a clear difference from lower quality reeds. Thank you for this!
Students are motivated to practice more because of these higher quality materials. This has a large impact on their desire to continue to play their instrument in High School. Crash Cymbals Needed For Middle School Band!
Funded Dec 30, 2023We cannot thank you enough for these crash cymbals! They are such a high quality instrument and the students recognize that. They love using them in each ensemble that they are in, including marching band, jazz band, and concert band. They have been used a ton and we look forward to using them for many, many years.
I have stressed the importance of caring for these cymbals with my students so that they can last for many rehearsals/ performances. The high quality cymbals really contribute to the joy that students show on a daily basis when rehearsing or performing. Additionally, the audience enjoys hearing music played with high quality instruments.”

Students Need Band Supplies!
Funded Nov 4, 2023Thank you so much for donating all of the reeds that my students use on a daily basis and the other supplies that help them maintain their instrument. These supplies are a vital part of making their music education a special and meaningful experience.
Students are using the paper towels and other similar supplies to keep our band room neat and clean so that we stay healthy and maintain the instruments properly. This is vital to the success of them practicing and performing. We can't wait for you to hear us live! Thank you again!”

Band Materials Needed
Funded Mar 4, 2023The materials you have helped purchase have gone such a tremendous way in the lives of my students. Since they are playing on high quality reeds for their instrument, they sound amazing on their instrument! They also look forward to playing their instrument because they get to use such high quality materials.
The tuba case was much needed to replace the older one, which was not in good shape. The new case is super high quality and students light up with joy upon using it because of how professional it is. We can't thank you enough!!!”

Band Materials Needed!
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you so much for the materials that you have graciously donated towards my band program. The cases help keep our instruments safe and protected and the sheet music will provide students with current and exciting music to play. They love playing new sheet music at home and in school. We might even feature the song from Frozen in our Winter Concert! Thank you so much for that donation.
The keyboard stand has already been used in several concerts and is such high quality. We have many piano players at our school and they love using high quality equipment such as the materials that you have provided. We cannot thank you enough!”

Funded May 13, 2019The materials that you have helped me purchase have contributed tremendously to my Instrumental Music program. The patriotic pieces that I purchased will continue to entertain audiences at parades and concerts and help show the patriotic spirit of my students and I. My students and I are always looking for new concert selections and now we have more of a repertoire to choose from. These pieces will also continue to challenge my students so that they can strive to play at a higher level on their instrument.
The file folders will create a more organized environment and teach students the value of organization in their own lives and in our musical classroom. These folders will help organize dozens of pieces of music in our library that includes Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Marching Band music. We cannot thank you enough for these materials and look forward to using them endless times in the future.
Although the John Williams selection that we purchased is a challenge, we look forward to that challenge. My students look forward to learning new skills that will allow them to play that piece of music such as more complex rhythms, tempos and key signatures. This piece will transform our concert and provide more entertainment for the audience for years to come. Thank you again!”

Funded Jan 23, 2019The new instruments and percussion equipment that you have provided for my students are going to help them grow tremendously as musicians. Having access to the high quality instruments that you have provided will advance the musicianship of my students exponentially. These new materials are motivating my students to practice and perform at a high level. Your dedication and contribution has truly impacted their lives in the past month and will surely impact thousands of students lives in the future who use these instruments in a practice/performance setting.
My students were in awe with the high quality instruments that they now have access to. They were extremely excited to use the instruments in pieces of music that we are working on. Their performance on these instruments has had a very positive impact on the rest of the musical ensemble working towards a spectacular concert. I have taught them how to care for the equipment so that we can make the equipment last for many, many years.
We would love to invite you to our Spring Concert, which is on June 5th, 2019 at 7 P.M. as well as our Alumni Concert outside on the baseball field at May 20th, 2019 at 7 P.M.. You will receive the opportunity to hear and see our Concert Bands, Jazz Band, and Alumni Band.

I.S.34 Jazz Band
Funded Aug 4, 2015Thank you again for your donation that has tremendously impacted the quality of student learning. My Jazz Band students have used the keyboard that you have donated towards playing music of various genres such as Jazz, Rock and Roll, and Popular Music. Students used this keyboard in rehearsals and various concerts such as our annual Barnes and Nobles Holiday performance as well as in the Winter Concert.
The keyboard has the most has had the most impact on one particular student because of the way the keyboard allows him to exhibit his musicianship in rehearsals and in performances. He uses this keyboard to compose pieces of music and take on leadership roles such as helping other students with their individual musical part in rehearsals. I know this will continue thanks to your donation.
I plan on setting up more projects in the future to buy quality brass, woodwind, and rhythm section instruments so that my students could all sound the best they can on their instrument. We spend many hours a week rehearsing for performances and quality instruments such as this keyboard allow them to exhibit musical skills gained in rehearsals. Thank you again and we invite you to all of our upcoming performances!”
