  • Lighting Up for Learning

    Funded Aug 30, 2018

Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom! Our little scholars cannot wait to use this in our discovery center. This will be such a wonderful addition to our classroom. We plan to begin the year by encouraging our students to use the blocks to build colorful towers and count the blocks as they build. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Casolo

  • Finding the Seat That Is Right for Me!

    Funded Jun 22, 2018

Thank you for your generosity! I know my kids will love the new seating options and I cannot wait to get these in time for the new school year! When kids come back to school for the new year, it is important that the classroom feels comfortable and inviting, so they feel like they belong and can learn and grow. These colorful chairs will positively affect the atmosphere in our new classroom. Thank you again and I can’t wait for August!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Casolo

These materials will give my students the freedom to choose where they sit while working in the classroom. We would be so lucky to have these additions to our brand-new self-contained classroom! The bean bags and wobble stools will be used in the library and at the whole group table to meet students' different needs, and we are excited to be able to provide a choice for our students. The wobble chairs will increase oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength as well as increase problem solving and turn taking skills. The bean bags will be placed in the library, giving them additional sensory input and a sense of comfort as they are enjoying their new favorite book. These two types of seating will be a fun and beneficial alternative to the traditional classroom chairs!
