Engaging, Playful, and Organized Learning
Funded Aug 4, 2023Thank you so much for your donation to my project. The majority of the resources we received have been used to organize the classroom. The cubbies and drawers have been so helpful in keeping our classroom tidy and organized. We use the cubbies to keep student headphones separate, and organized by student numbers. We use the drawers for students to store unfinished work and student decodables. Students also have really enjoyed the matchbox cars and the costumes.
Since we received the materials before the school year began, the students were introduced to them at the same time as the classroom. However, they have made very good use of them as we have continued into the school year and greatly appreciate them.”

Funded Sep 23, 2021Thanks to you, our class has a snack break every afternoon! Our lunch is so early (10:45). By the time the snack rolls around, they are ready to eat.
Unfortunately, our school was shut down due to COVID when the packages arrived. However, when we returned to in-person school, my students were so excited and happy to see snacks stacked up on our counter.
After several months of having a scheduled snack time, they still get excited about the snack options. Their favorite snacks are the cheddar bunnies. We are so appreciative of your kind donations that made this project possible.”

Funded Mar 8, 2021When you donated to this project, you provided a water bottle station and cleaning supplies, a hand sanitizing station, and individual headphones.
The water bottle station allows my students to have fresh filtered water throughout the day, supporting their overall health. The cleaning supplies helped make The hand sanitizing station allow me, my students, and anyone walking into our classroom to easily access hand sanitizer the moment they walk in the door without wasting it (thanks to a hands-free dispenser.) Finally, the headphones create an environment where students can work on individual interactive assignments and state assessments on their iPads without disturbing those around them.
I wish you could have seen the excitement on their faces when I told them our project was funded. Not only have you supported my students' health and learning, but you have also made them very happy!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Caitlin Zibell
Toys For Dramatic Play
Funded Feb 15, 2016Dear Donors,
The class was ecstatic when they found out that toys were on the way! We had decided the kinds of toys we wanted in our classroom. As we brainstormed you could see the excitement building. They were excited for our classroom to become a more fun and an engaging place to be. However, they knew that without financial support we would not be able to purchase the toys that we dreamed to have in our classroom.
When they came in the day after I set up the toys in the classroom, there was a lot of jumping and squealing! The boys played airport and muffled their voices to sound like air traffic control as they landed their planes on the runway. The girls pretended to be mamas and carried the baby dolls around like they were the real thing.
Now a new school year has begun, and a new group of kindergartners has begun to enjoy the gift that you gave us. Many of the younger siblings of students from last year's group are now in kindergarten. On the first day of school one of the first things they said was that they could not wait to play with the "cool toys."
Your generous donations have achieved the goal we desired. So, on behalf of the kindergarten class of 2015-2016 as well as the current kindergarten class of 2016-2017 we would like to express our sincerest thanks.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Caitlin Zibell
