Thank you so much for funding our project! I can’t wait to tell the students and share these historical books with them. History is my passion and I love sharing the past with my students! We are so lucky to have people like you to help us learn about the past! Thank you again for funding our project”

Reading is more fun now that my students have a nice place to sit. The reclining seats you supported have given a new meaning to "get comfy and read." We use seating for small groups as we like to sit on the floor and the students like being able to move around the room and read silently. I don't think I've seen students so excited to read! They have asked me to write another project to get more so everyone has a comfy place to rest their bottoms when they are lost in their reading. We have even lowered some of the tables in our room to use the seats all day long! Thanks again for helping my students relax and read!”

I can not thank you enough for supporting our project to boogie! The students absolutely love using the boogie boards. They are so excited to boogie down in math.
I am excited that we no longer have to ask for dry-erase markers or waste tissues or worry about the tables being stained from writing on them. Boogie boards are a teacher's dream! There are some days we don't need to use them for math but they will ask to use them for other subjects. Other 5th grades classes have asked to borrow them! Thanks again for your support!”

Thank you so much for funding our flexible seating. Students have enjoyed using them and have shared with other students their favorite seating. The grey lounge chairs were a huge hit and many of them love the fidget bands on the chairs. It is my hope to add more floor seating next year. The textured pillows have helped many in our calm/relaxation area, especially if they are having a rough day. I myself have found myself using the seating and pillows. Thanks again for helping us move by funding our project!”
Thank you so much for funding my iPads for iGroups. We have used the iPad for both reading and math groups last year and will again be using the iPad this year in the same manner. I am able to have a small group going at the same time another student is working on a specific skill right beside me.
The students love being able to use the iPad as it's the newer version and they think that is so cool to be the only class in 5th grade with an iPad. They have asked if we can get another one!
All of my students want to use the iPad but currently, it is just for individual use while I am working with groups. If we are to apply for another one then I would be able to open it up to others”

Increase student engagement with iPads during Reading instruction. The use of an iPad provides multiple opportunities for me to create a more personalized interactive learning experience for my students not only in Reading instruction but in all areas of our day. Having more individualized opportunities can be meaningful to all students and assist them in improving their literary skills.
Improving reading skills improves self-confidence and leads to a better understanding in all areas of education as well as everyday life. Struggling readers get discouraged, frustrated and almost always shut down when reading is difficult.
