Being a teacher is about being inspired, and my students truly do inspire me. My students are a wonderfully hard-working group of first graders in Nevada. They come to school every day dedicated, ready to learn and do what is asked of them. My students want to succeed and strive to do their best. Our school is blessed to have our basic necessities met; unfortunately, our school does not get much funding for things that aren't necessities. We do not have much additional funding for technology and extra classroom resources. While many schools in our district are constantly updating their technology, curriculum, and resources, we as teachers are frequently trying to "reinvent" the wheel to keep our teaching engaging and meaningful for every student. Thank you for taking the time to look into our project that can help my classroom continue to be meaningful and engaging!
