Let the Good Scores (and Snacks) Roll!
Funded Aug 2, 2023I hope this letter finds you well, and I want to extend our deepest appreciation for your generous support of our classroom project. Your contributions have made a significant impact, especially during the testing season that is now upon us. Testing days can be long and strenuous for everyone, but thanks to your kindness, we are better equipped to make these days a little brighter for our students.
The items you've generously provided, including water bottles, stickers, snacks, and more, have allowed us to create testing treat bags for our students. These little tokens of encouragement have already nourished their spirits and provided motivation for them to achieve their best testing outcomes. When the students received these treat bags, their faces lit up with excitement and gratitude. It was a heartwarming moment that showcased the power of your support.
As we move forward, our students will embark on their testing journey with these special treat bags by their side, a reminder that we believe in them and that they deserve every chance to succeed. Your contributions have made a difference not only in their test performance but also in their morale. We are excited to share that they are approaching their tests with renewed confidence, and we have you to thank for that.
Once again, thank you for your incredible generosity and for bringing joy to our students during this challenging time. We look forward to sharing the positive impact of your support as we continue to support and encourage our students on their educational journey.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Bland

Funded Sep 20, 2022You have done it again! My school loves to celebrate students. With your help and generosity, we have been able to do that by opening our very own school store. Using the research based practice of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, we have helped to bring joy to students as they get amped up for all the learning "in store"!
Schools are not only places for students to learn, but to also succeed .
Each day students have the opportunity to earn "school money" to be able to purchase rewards in our school store. Students were overjoyed when they saw the items they selected were the same items they now have the opportunity to "purchase". They were excitedly me showing the things they purchased and looking forward to the next visit.
At Fairfield Court, our mission is to "Learn, Grow and Excel". We are celebrating the major growth our students have shown. What better way than a school store? Your donation has contributed to these efforts, and I can't wait to see what is to come. Our school community appreciates you more than you know.”

Funded Nov 30, 2021Thank you so much for your donations to the students of John B. Cary! Technology has been pivotal to the lives of students, particularly in the last few years. The addition of a green screen, recording equipment, and STEM learning station activities has helped to leverage technology in making teaching and learn engaging and exciting.
With the use of green screen technology students are able to record and reflect on their learning and objectives. Students are always able to share those learning opportunities with our school community and beyond. Your generosity is appreciated and your kindness will impact students more than you know.”

Funded Jan 14, 2019I am so appreciative of your donation to my classroom. My students and I have used the GoTouch technology as an integral part of the learning environment. In my small classroom, I have been given the chance to have the same feel and technology as a smart board with this space saving mechanism. It has also been efficient in saving what would be the cost of dry erase markers. Right now, we are in review season and the tool is being used as a way to make what would be a normal lesson much more interactive. Students are actively engaged and actually volunteering to come to the board and use our new gadget.
My students were curious when they first saw our new technology. It is our first piece of new technology this school year. They were excited to help me hook it up and figure out how it works. There was a great sense of appreciation and wonder that is sometimes overlooked once students enter middle school. I was happy to experience that moment with them, and it is all thanks to you.
I plan to continue to give the experience of working with technology to my students. Preparing them for 21st century experiences is important to me. Due to the convenience of the technology your donation has afforded my classroom, I not only transformed my classroom this year, but will do so in years to come. You are truly appreciated.”
