Technology is everywhere and we all use it and multitask constantly with it. I would like to add stuff to my classroom to make learning from Chromebooks easier. Help me give my computer mice for working on projects with instead of having to use a Chromebook trackpad, head phones to listen to music while taking independent notes, school supplies to make hands on projects artistic and fun, and a cool classroom pet! Rather than policing cellphones and technology, I have my students work for 10 to 20 minutes then take a break and enjoy music or talking with friends. Just that few minutes of downtime helps them refocus to get the task they are working on done.
