  • Empowering Rural Learners: Science Adventure!

    Funded May 10, 2024

am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your incredible contributions towards creating engaging science curricula. As a high school science teacher, I see firsthand the transformative power that well-crafted, interactive lessons can have on students, especially those from low-income and minority backgrounds. Your resources have not only sparked curiosity and excitement in my classroom but also have made complex scientific concepts accessible and enjoyable for all my students. This level of engagement is crucial in fostering a love for learning and helping students envision a future where they can excel in STEM fields.

On a personal note, as a mother of three, the availability of comprehensive and ready-to-use science curriculum has been a tremendous blessing. Balancing work and family life is always a challenge, and the time saved by not having to reinvent the wheel when it comes to lesson planning is invaluable. This allows me to focus more on being present for my children and ensuring that I can meet both my professional and personal responsibilities effectively. The peace of mind that comes from knowing I have high-quality resources at my fingertips cannot be overstated.

Thank you once again for your dedication and hard work in providing such vital educational tools. Your efforts not only enhance the learning experience for countless students but also support educators in achieving a healthier work-life balance. Your impact is profound and deeply appreciated by both teachers and students alike.”

  • Charged and Ready to Go!

    Funded Sep 1, 2023

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support and generosity in making donations to my classroom. Your contribution has made a significant impact on my teaching and my students' learning experiences. Thanks to your kind donations, I now have the essential tools to create a more engaging and productive classroom environment.

The phone chargers and computer chargers you provided have been a game-changer. They allow my students to stay focused on their work without the constant distraction of needing to run to their lockers to charge their devices. This has improved classroom efficiency and given us more time for valuable learning activities.

The Bluetooth speaker you generously donated has enabled me to introduce my students to a whole new world of audio learning. We can now listen to educational podcasts that complement our curriculum, both inside and outside the classroom. It's amazing to see how engaged and excited my students are when they can learn in a more interactive and dynamic way.

The over-the-head headphones have also revolutionized our classroom experience. They enable students to participate in EdPuzzle videos, allowing them to learn at their own pace and in a way that suits their individual needs. This personalized learning approach has greatly improved comprehension and retention, and your support has been instrumental in making it possible.

Your kindness and generosity have made a significant impact on the quality of education I can provide to my students. I am truly touched by your willingness to support our classroom, and I am confident that your contributions will have a lasting effect on the academic and personal growth of each student in my class.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and belief in the power of education. Your support means the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for your help in creating a better learning environment.”

  • Recycle Bins for NMHS!

    Funded Aug 1, 2023

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation towards the purchase of recycling bins for North Mac High School. Your kind and selfless contribution has had a profound impact on our school and our commitment to the environment.

The significance of recycling cannot be overstated, especially in today's world, where environmental preservation is of utmost importance. The recycling bins you have provided to our school play a crucial role in promoting sustainability, reducing waste, and conserving valuable resources. With your support, we are now better equipped to instill a culture of recycling among our students and staff.

Recycling is not just a mere act of separating materials, but a powerful tool that can create a substantial impact on our planet. By recycling, we reduce the strain on landfills, conserve energy, and lower greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, it teaches our students about responsible consumption, waste reduction, and the importance of protecting our environment for future generations.

Your generous donation has given us the means to empower our students with the knowledge and resources needed to make a difference. It serves as a tangible reminder that individuals like you are willing to invest in our collective future. By providing recycling bins, you've given us the choice to make a positive impact on our environment, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.

The impact of your donation extends beyond the walls of our school. It reaches into our community, inspiring others to embrace recycling and be more environmentally conscious. It's a ripple effect that will continue to grow and make a difference for years to come.

In addition to the environmental benefits, your contribution has also demonstrated your belief in the potential of our students. It conveys the message that you have faith in the younger generation to be stewards of the environment and contribute to a brighter, greener future. Your support serves as an example of how a single act of kindness can inspire countless others to follow in your footsteps.

Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and for providing us with the means to promote recycling at North Mac High School. Your contribution has made a meaningful difference, and we are deeply grateful for your generosity.”

  • Colorful Science Lessons

    Funded Jan 15, 2023

My North Mac kiddos have immensely enjoyed the classroom pack of fine tip markers and the classroom pack of broad tip markers with 12 different color options. In my human anatomy class, it is important for the students to label and color anatomy diagrams. Just this week we learned about the different chambers, valves, arteries, and veins of the heart and students were able to color each structure with a different color! The fine tip markers have also been especially appreciated by my human anatomy for notes and labeling diagrams.

My other classes have also enjoyed having markers in the classroom for poster projects. My freshman biology class this year made posters about keystone species and used the markers provided by this project.

With the supplies my students were able to complete a giant five by four feet wide coloring posters. The coloring poster on my wall gave my students something to be excited about when they completed their work. For some students it was also relaxing or brought them peace, in times of stress. Without the supplies you help fund, this would not have been possible.

Having materials in my classroom enables me to assign projects that would require students to color and be creative without stressing about finding supplies at home. I love the role I have in my students lives that is partially due to the resources I am able to provide because of donors like you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Baragiola

  • Home Away From Home Improvement Project!

    Funded May 4, 2022

I feel so at home in my classroom! The items funded by you have made my classroom more welcoming to myself and my students. The crates and crate organizer provides a place for students to keep their items for my classroom, in my classroom. This is especially beneficial for freshman that are learning organization skills and good school habits. Students keep all their notes in a binder which I call a Bio Log and then their binders have a safe place in my classroom to be stored and not lost, thanks to you!

The other main item funded was a nice speaker. Instructional videos having clear and crisps audio which makes it easier for students to engage. The audio quality draws students into lessons and keeps their attention.

Thank you for improving my classroom environment for myself and my students. It is definitely a place, where if we have to leave home, we are happy to spend our time in/at. My classroom ROCKS thanks to you!”

  • Project Color Printer!

    Funded Feb 18, 2022

I am so incredibly blessed to be able to have my own color printer in my classroom. Students are able to use it freely for my class and any other classes. Students are excited that they have free access to a colored printer. The printer has mainly been utilized for poster projects. Printing in color makes posters more esthetically pleasing. Students take more pride in their projects when they are able to put colored pictures on them. Secondly, I have utilized the colored printer for my anatomy and physiology class quite frequently. Students have greatly enjoyed having their notes on histology (tissues) in color. Diagrams for anatomy & physiology look incredibly better in color. If I was using the school's copier students would be getting notes in gray scale which would obscure some diagram. Printing it color makes it much clearer for students. Also, colored notes brings students happiness because they have shared that me printing their notes in color is one way they can tell I care about them and what they are learning.

Thank you so much for funding my color printer. It is truly blessing and a luxury that my students and I benefit from and get to enjoy.”

  • New Awesome Science Teacher Needs Technology for the Classroom

    Funded Sep 1, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation! Almost daily I have students borrow and use headphones during class. While working on self paced assignments such as vocabulary, my students enjoy listening to music with the headphones your donation helped me get for my classroom. Computer mice have also been useful in projects!

The fidget toys have been utilized often by my younger students to focus during note taking and lectures.

Lastly, the color pencils for my classroom have enabled me to choose engaging, creative, and hands on projects such as making paper clam models and alternative energy resource brochures. Your donations have been used well to make my classroom extra special and elevate the learning of my students at Lanphier High School.”

Technology is everywhere and we all use it and multitask constantly with it. I would like to add stuff to my classroom to make learning from Chromebooks easier. Help me give my computer mice for working on projects with instead of having to use a Chromebook trackpad, head phones to listen to music while taking independent notes, school supplies to make hands on projects artistic and fun, and a cool classroom pet! Rather than policing cellphones and technology, I have my students work for 10 to 20 minutes then take a break and enjoy music or talking with friends. Just that few minutes of downtime helps them refocus to get the task they are working on done.
