I am a 2nd grade teacher at a public charter school in Las Vegas, Nevada. My school serves students from preschool to 8th grade. An essential part of our charter is our focus on multiculturalism; a focus that is made manifest in our student body. My students represent a wide array of cultural backgrounds and speak many different languages. My students come from differing social and financial backgrounds as well, which only furthers their ability to learn from one another each day. My students are fun-loving and happy. I am fortunate and privileged to be their teacher. At my school, we know that the students matter and we strive each day to give them the best possible chance to learn new things and prepare to be college graduates. I love my students and my school and I thank you in advance for all your selfless support.
