This project will allow my students to have participate in small group book clubs with some of the more popular and on demand books. By participating in book clubs, my bilingual students will be able to use academic language in a low anxiety, fun setting. They will look forward to meeting each day and discussing the book they love to read. There is no better feeling to a teacher than seeing her students excited about reading and talking about what they are reading. My students lack reading materials in their homes, and look forward to reading and discussing in class with peers.
