• Magnetic Mission

My students were able to participate in hands-on investigations with magnets that has sparked their curiosity and enthusiasm for science. Being able to "play" with magnets allows them to explore concepts in a fun and engaging way and encourage curiosity. • Posters for Presentations

  Thank you so much for your generous donation towards our class project to purchase our new 24" printer. Your support has made a tremendous impact on our students and the classroom environment. With this printer, we can create vibrant posters, anchor charts, and student displays that not only enhance learning but also inspire creativity. The excitement in the classroom has grown as students have seen bright, colorful anchor charts displayed around the room that support the lessons and skills they've been learning in class. They are eager to create their owns posters to share their knowledge and identities and see their work come to life in such a colorful and engaging way!”

• We Need a New Printer!

  I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your generous contribution towards our brand new printer for our classroom. Your support means more than words can convey and I am truly thankful for your commitment to enhancing my students' learning environment.

  With the addition of the new printer, our students now have improved access to resources and printed materials, enabling them to engage in a variety of educational activities and projects. I am able to easily print their math problem sets and homework packets as well as send home resources and communications to parents. This printer was very much needed and will help my class for years to come!”

• Counting Collections Kits to Build Number Sense

  Thank you for your donations to help bring this project to life! My students were so excited to see the boxes arriving in our classroom and look forward to days when we can work on "counting collections." The arrival of the new items to count helped motivate my students to count in different ways. They made so many new connections to mathematical concepts such as multiplication and different ways to write equations with the use of the egg cartons as organizers. We will be using these materials to count and help with foundational math skills years to come. Thank you!”

• An iPad to Build Community

  Funded Oct 13, 2023

  Thank you for your contribution to our project to build community. We have been able to use the iPad to take pictures and videos easily in class and share with our class, our school, and in the future, our community. My students will be learning how to use Canva and Google suites to turn their photographs and videos into newsletters and vlogs to share with others. They are currently brainstorming topics that they would like to share. The iPad has been essential in being able to capture pictures quickly by my students and will be used for years to come. Thank you!”

• Math Manipulative Toolboxes

  Funded Nov 8, 2023

  I was so excited to see all the materials arrive for our new math tool boxes! Often times teachers hate getting these supplies out because it's so tedious to pass out to all the students. But by organizing them into smaller bins, my students will be able to grab what they need at their table groups and I'll have less to manage and do as the teacher! I worked over Thanksgiving break to count out, sort, and organize the tool boxes and when I brought them back to school after break, the students were very excited to see them. They can't wait to learn how to use some of these tools and I know that this will increase their engagement and support them with mathematical concepts. Thank you!!!”

• Updating Resources in Our Classroom

  Thank you for your generous donations to our project. I was able to purchase many new teaching resources to engage my students with. One item in particular was a project where I read the book Balloons Over Broadway with the students and then they created their own city landscape and paper balloon that they would like to enter into the Thanksgiving Day Parade. The project was very exciting to the students and I even heard a few of them say, "Wow! This is so much fun!" The ideas that I was able to get from using my gift card to TeachersPayTeachers has been very beneficial.

• Cameras for Chromebooks

  Funded Jul 26, 2023

  Thank you for supporting my classroom with your donation to provide cameras for our Chromebooks. I was able to set them all up and have planned many projects for the students to start using them. The first thing they did was use them to create recordings of themselves reading. In the next few months they will start to use them to create videos of their written plays. They will use them to take photos and upload them to their Google Slides and create interesting presentations. They will use them to create their own vlogs and podcasts. I am excited to see what else they will do with these cameras. Thank you for your generosity!”

• Updated Resources for Our Classroom

  Thank you for helping provide TeachersPayTeachers gift cards to my class. I was very excited to be able to use the gift cards to purchase resources for my classroom. One of the resources I purchased was Number Talks Slides to help my students engage in meaningful conversation about math. These teacher created materials really honed in on what I wanted to do in my classroom and complemented the lessons I was teaching in my classroom.

  Another resource I purchased with the gift cards were creative writing prompts that help support my writing lessons. Students have really enjoyed the variety of prompts and visuals that we use to discuss and brainstorm ideas as they plan their writing. Thank you for your help!”
