• Diversity in Third

  My students are so diverse but they share a LOVE of reading! My classroom library was lacking in books with diverse backgrounds and experiences, though. By having these books, it has allowed me to be more intentional about the books that I am reading aloud to my kiddos, as well as the books that I have available for them to browse through.

  These books have allowed my students to get their hands on more books that they can relate to as we learn to celebrate more of our differences in our classroom!

  Reading these books together has opened up some rich discussions about diversity in our classroom and it makes me so excited! They absolutely love these titles and we cannot thank you enough for investing into our classroom!”

• Creating Lifetime Readers!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations! My students LOVED the new books. In fact, they were so excited about them, they were begging me to start reading small groups immediately. I noticed an instant change in my students during small group time. They genuinely WANTED to dive into their new literature options! This made me even more excited about teaching them!

  Through these books, I have been able to enrich their vocabulary and deepen their level of understanding with reading comprehension strategies. They have learned to carry on engaging and deep discussions about the text with their peers.

• Wiggle While We Work

  I want to thank you for investing in my students! These wobble cushions have been a great addition to our classroom's flexible seating option! The kids LOVE them. My students are constantly on the move. They are full of energy and struggle to channel that energy while we are working and moving through centers in our classroom. These wobble cushions have helped tremendously with that! I love giving my students options in their seating, as they learn what works best for their learning. • Training at the Ron Clark Academy!

  Thank you so much for your donations and investing in me and my role as a teacher! I learned SO much from my training at the Ron Clark Academy. I came back with many ideas for my students for this upcoming school year! I learned about how to increase student engagement to reach all students. I also learned about how to boost the classroom community among students and their peers. One of the coolest things that I saw was that students would embrace each other and support each other in their academic work. Students were not afraid to make mistakes, which is something that the teachers at the Ron Clark Academy taught them at the beginning of the year.

  The students use these iPads for research projects for our new science and social studies standards and have thoroughly enjoyed it!

  These stools have absolutely changed the dynamic in my classroom! My students LOVE the stools and seem to be benefiting greatly from them!

  Since I started teaching, 4 years ago, one of the many things I wanted for my classroom was for every one of my students to have one of these stools. Thanks to you for your generous donations, that dream is now a reality in my classroom.

  My students are using these stools during individual learning time, as well as center time during our Math and Reading blocks. They are loving that they get to move and work at the same time and are not strictly confined to a chair.

  I cannot begin to express to you my gratitude and excitement for your donations and support! It is a wonderful feeling to know that we share a common vision of reaching children.

  My kiddos were so excited to receive the levelized books to read! They were excited to have nonfiction books that were on their level. They beg me for a chance to read the books daily! It's a fun option for those that have completed their work and gives them something to work towards!

  My students reading levels have jumped leaps and bounds since August. The exposure to different genres of reading and levelized text is a huge part of that!

• Learning Up Close with a Document Camera

  My students are LOVING our document camera. They were so excited to try it out for the first time and still get excited every time we use it!

  This document camera has been vital to my students learning! We use it daily. I can quickly pull it up to model an assignment or activity. It has made teaching Math a lot easier! I put up the practice page on the screen and have students come up and demonstrate their learning and understanding.

  This document has changed our learning environment for the better. My students and I can not thank you enough for your support and donations!”
