Alternative seating is necessary for many student who struggle with sitting still. While creative a positive classroom atmosphere will help students feel comfortable and more likely to move out of their comfort zone. That is why I would like different lights, wall art, and a plant. I am asking for notebooks and markers to create interactive notebooks for my guided reading classes, this is a way to really engage the students and get them really involved in their learning. Every February we study poetry and "Rhythm and Resistance" is amazing for helping teach students how to really express thier feelings in a modern, passionate way.
