  • Mission: Addition

    Funded Oct 12, 2023

My deepest apologies for taking so long to write this impact letter, the year is filled with so much learning and assignments that the time got away from me.

I can tell you how impactful these resources are to our school community now that the students used them all throughout the year. The students were able to apply the mathematical concepts they learned by using the tools your generosity provided.

The students created their own math problems and then used the dice and the ten frames to solve the problems. This is work they did all year long that allowed for them to get stronger and stronger with their math knowledge.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rosa

  • You Know, It's Not the Same as It Was?!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

My students have been using these materials for a while now and really enjoy using the learning tools such as the alphabet bean bags and then tactile numbers and letters resources.

These materials have allowed for them to strengthen their foundational knowledge on letters, their sounds and number sense. As we continue to utilize these materials their academic goals will surely be met.

The best way for learning in a kindergarten classroom is through hands on experiences and engaging activities.

We love using our materials. Thanks again for all you do for public schools.”

  • Celebrate Our Learning, Oh Yeah!

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

The materials for this project were much needed. We have used them for various celebrations so far this year. We used the table covers for our multi grades thanksgiving feast and for our recent writers publishing party. The resources add an extra level of polish to our events and we enjoy having them.

In addition, the bubbles and playdoh provide opportunities for students to gain prizes throughout their work days through exhibiting positive behaviors. I usually have to purchase my prizes on my own so this was much appreciated”

  • Organization Sensation

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

My students and I have utilized the materials from this project by ensuring that our classroom is organized. The folders and pouches are sturdy and used for the kids take home reading books.

We like having the materials because it makes the work we do move more smoothly and effectively throughout each school day.

The papers we have allow us to make our room inviting and colorful. It helps with student engagement and them having plentiful resources at their disposal for academic activities and wind down things.

We are very thankful for your contributions.”

  • Hocus, Pocus, Snacks keep us Focused

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

The snacks that you helped supply for my classroom made such a difference during these first few months of school. The kids looked forward to it towards the end of our day. Now, I have to do another snack project because the snacks finish pretty quickly with 25 students to give a snack to each day.

The kids especially enjoyed the fruit snacks and gold fish. They would remind me on days that we were so very busy and enjoyed them.

I liked the time it gave them to share in conversations with classmates at the end of the day. They would work so hard all day and having those precious moments to engage with their friends outside of academic time was a true gift.”

  • Healthy Snacks for Bright Minds

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

the snacks for the students were so very helpful throughout the year. Students had snacks and drinks that they could depend on each day. Since our lunch is so early these snacks were crucial for students to stay focused and on task through the end of the day. It isn't easy to keep 25 little 5 and 6 year olds engaged so these snacks were a huge benefit. Your generosity to our public school students does not go unnoticed. We are so glad to have shared in opportunities where we could have nourishing snacks for our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rosa

If you read my description then you will see, flexible seating is a must indeed. Students like to move and that's okay, can we get them seats to sway? My anecdote about the child who moved up and down and fidgeted in his chair. That was solved by an adjustment of his chair! Their desks are flat nowhere for books or materials at all--so we need some cubbies to store it all! It is important to have a place for personal stuff. If we don't, how will they learn to be organized, pretty rough. If you help us we would be so glad. Sitting in flexible seating; that's pretty rad!
