  • Ink Essentials

    Funded Jan 28, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation! Most of my students do not have a printer at home. Your donation has made it possible for my class to be able to print their beautiful projects! In addition, I am able to print out the essential worksheets that my students need to continue their skills practice. My students just completed their Native American research projects. Thanks to the ink I was able to print colored copies to display for our open house. All of this would not have been possible if we had not received your donations!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Villalobos

  • Charged and Ready to Learn!

    Funded Oct 28, 2023

Thank you for your generosity! The Chromebook charging station has made a great difference in our classroom. It has provided a safe area to charge the students' Chromebooks. I don't struggle with tangled cords anymore! The students' Chromebooks are always charged and ready to use daily. In addition, during our winter break, I did not have to find a place to store them safely. The charging station can be locked and their Chromebooks are safely stored away. The charging station has made a very positive impact on myself and my students. Thank you!”

  • Engaged Teaching with an iPad Part 2

    Funded Oct 7, 2023

We are very grateful to have received the iPad pencil, USB Hub, and the 8-pack Apple pencil tips. These were necessary tools to fully transform my iPad mini into a digital book, whiteboard, and so much more. I am now able to model the problem and not give my back to my students. I have noticed that since implementing the use of the iPad pencil there is more student engagement. Students are fully interested and can explain or model their thinking. The iPad pencil is a useful tool for my diverse learners! Thank you!”

We are very grateful to have received the iPad. It has made a big impact when I am teaching. I can face the students and model the problem without giving my back to them. The iPad has become my new grade book and lesson planner. I have noticed that since implementing the use of the iPad there is more student engagement. Students can explain their thinking and fully understand the lesson being taught. The iPad is a very useful tool that has helped my diverse learners. • Fantastic Readers!

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

Thank you for your generosity! My class used the new book to enrich their reading. I was able to teach them about the plot of the story. In addition, they were able to read and find text evidence to support the character analysis of Charlie. The students are able to take the book home to practice their reading and find text evidence to support their answers to comprehension questions.

When students have their own book they are able to focus in class and it makes a great impact on their reading abilities. I am really grateful for your generosity.”

  • High Quality Printing

    Funded Mar 30, 2023

Thank you for your generosity! The printer has allowed me to print my classroom work. My students are extremely happy to be able to receive colored copies! I am now able to give each student their own copy of the work! As a result I can see students are motivated and understand all the work! Previously I had to project the work to the board. Now my students receive their own copy. The printer has made a huge impact in their learning. In addition, I can print colored anchor charts to add to my bulletin boards. The colored charts really helps their learning. Thank you so much!”

    Mrs. Villalobos

  • The More You Read the More You Know

    Funded Feb 2, 2012

    Dear Donors,

This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom project. Your generosity made it possible for my students to receive a computer which they are using every single day. We've used this resource to read on-line books, learn spelling patterns, improve our reading comprehension, and reading fluency. The computer has been used by all 25 students in my classroom.

Our school is currently facing a budget shortfall, so without your help, my students would never have had these vital resources. For English learners in third grade reading comprehension and fluency is one of the most important indicators of continued academic success.

Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without these vital resources.

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Villalobos
