Make Math Count!
Funded Dec 30, 2020Thanks to your big open hearts and generosity my students now have the math supplies they need to learn affectively from home. My students will be as grateful as I am to have the right tools to allow them to learn to their full potential. The tools that they would normally have access to at school will now be in their hands at home. These students will make us all proud, you will see.”

Funded Dec 2, 2020My students will be overwhelmed with gratitude to be lucky enough to receive the gifts that will make learning from home efficient for them for the remainder of the school year! These little “Super Zoomers” deserve this. They sign in day after day with such high motivation and perseverance, ready to learn. For them, everyday, regardless of the obstacles, is a new day to learn. I am proud to call myself their teacher. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can’t wait to send pictures of them receiving these gifts! It will be magical!”

Funded Apr 29, 2018I begin by saying THANK YOU and as I'm trying to find a way to express enough gratitude, from myself and my students, on the noble decision you made when you chose to support our art enrichment project, I am almost at a loss for words. From the bottom of my heart and theirs, just know your decision to help us fund enriching art supplies made our second grade school year so much BRIGHTER, and in more ways than one. The photographs will show you how excited the students were during the unwrapping, but the excitement didn't stop there at all. We created many projects through out the year with the supplies, and my NEW students for the 2018-2019 school year are still using the supplies and loving them!!
We used the materials to complete many fun learning projects, and we still continue to use them. One project the students created during our plant unit was when we used the watercolors and paint sticks to replicate beautiful flowers of all sorts of colors and shapes on large sized paper. The students used the stock paper to create beautiful skyscrapers out of shapes that they cut and placed to design a all structure as part of our NYC over time unit. The students created self reflection portfolios about second grade as an end of year project and used the makers to designing their pages and covers.
The fun and the school year came to an end however, and a new year began. New students came in and many of our supplies lasted into the new year. I explained the extent of your generosity to my previous students as well as my new students and they are just blown away by the idea that people cared enough about our learning and enrichment to provide funds for our materials. Essentially, it is truly heartwarming, equally for myself and the students, to know that good people exist.”
