• Knowledge-Rich Lessons for Financial Literacy

  Thank you for your wonderful donation to my classroom! Teaching with right resources is awesome. My students naturally seem to gravitate toward interactive activities! Their eyes widen and their attention span like magic, increases! Connecting Math to real life experiences makes any lesson interactive. It's amazing to see my students self-driven to finish the assigned classwork, so that they can use the applications in which they pretend to have a grocery store, ice-cream parlor, and restaurants! Teaching has been revolutionized in my class with activities that will teach my students how to use money wisely. All my students' parents are wondering why their kids want to come to class earlier than usual. The answer is easy, they are allow to play in our pretend businesses before the class begins. Teaching with the use of hands on centers and activities has been wonderful! Thank you for making financial literacy a hand-on experience in my class! Thanks a billion!”

• Teaching Mindfulness to 2nd Graders

  Thank you for fulfilling and carrying this project to the final line. All the resources are making a difference in my classroom. Many of my students are impacted with many social emotional issues like anxiety, fears, and misbehaviors. The exercises and activities explained and carried through the resources have made many differences in my classroom and in my students' lives. Now we have learned to walk away from the problem, speak your mind up, and solve any problems that they are having. Using their voices has made a huge difference in solving disagreements in the playground. We focus on conflict resolutions so the disagreement doesn't escalate.

• STEM and Robotics

  Thank you to all my wonderful donors! You have made a major impact in my students' learning. They no longer have to wonder about the world around them! With the robot, they get to explore the world of coding and engineering in a meaningful way. This ensures that what they have learned and will learn last for a lifetime. This winter at the start of the new year my students have learned about simple machines and how they work. They will learn that it takes engineering to make a simple tool and that simple tools have made an impact in our every-day lives. I know that my students can't wait to explore more about simple machines, robotics, coding, and how these all work together. I am eternally grateful that this world still have people like you that care for children like my students. Thank you so much for sparking the interest of science in my students!”

• Abacus for Place Value Understanding

  Thank you so much for your donations! We started to use our place value chart and place value dice right away. It's amazing how hands-on activities makes teaching number sense easy. My students' attitude towards place value has transformed and they can't wait for math time to arrive. They want to do math all day long and they can if they are done with their classwork. • An iPad for Distance Learning

  Funded Aug 8, 2020

  Your donation of the Ipad has made a difference for one of my students that otherwise would be missing our daily distance learning lessons. He feels part of the class and is able to work on the chats and the daily assignments. Hi parents were so excited and besides the IPad our school was able to provide a hot spot to enhance his technology connection. This poor child was on a waiting list to receive a laptop from our district for a while and he was given three refurbished laptops that were faulty and only lasted a couple of weeks before they needed to be refurbished by tech support. Needless to say, a new device has been a blessing and he has flourished and is on the top ten students list since he received the IPAd. It this progress and great turned around in my student´s attitude and progress, would not had been possible without your wonderful donation.

• Commit to Be Fit!

  Thank you so much for making a huge difference in our classroom. Your contribution has made a tremendous impact in my students' health and their daily physical activity. They are aware that health, fitness, and daily exercise go together. They can't wait to move around and use the donated equipment. I have started instructing my students directly in nutrition, physical fitness, and healthy eating habits. Is awesome to see my students asking questions about sugar intake, trans fats, and saturated fats. They are aware that we need to eat a variety of vegetables and fruits. They are motivated to be part of the school garden and are currently growing carrots, lettuce, cilantro, basil, and green beans. Thank you so much!”
