Many of my students have sensory and developmental issues, which makes it hard for them to concentrate and sit still for a long period of time. With the wobble chairs and wobble cushions, my students will be able to move and adjust their bodies in a non-disruptive way. This will allow them to burn energy and give their muscles the stimuli they need, causing them to focus and be more attentive in class. Studies show that active seating helps strengthen muscles, improve posture and blood flow, and burn off excess energy. The reading pillows will allow students to relax while looking at books, or give them a safe and comfy place to cool down if they need to calm down for any reason.
