My 25, smart and hardworking Kindercubs love to read and retell stories during Reader's Workshop. They like to shout "We Are Readers" and sing our "Gathering Song" as we get ready on the rug. They are learning to work with their partner in Word Work Stations and during our Writer's Workshop time too. If you came into our classroom, you would most likely see students listening to one another as they talk and share their thinking. During our Engineering time, they work in teams to face the engineering challenge head on and solve the problems using trial and error and perseverance. While working on math problems, they think about different ways to show their thinking and work to develop strong number concepts. They are a community of learners!
