Scholastic News Magazine reaches out to the reader using topics that engage and keep the readers attention. Over the past two years it has also help language learners to increase vocabulary embedded in the content they are reading. Comprehension questions support the answers easily found in the text and challenge their thought process retain the information they have acquired. Language learners have utilized this magazine to learn text features, main idea, details, and improved reading comprehension by reading articles geared towards their interests.
