Phonics and Decoding in Practice!
Funded Mar 10, 2021First off, thank you so much for the wonderful gifts that your generous donations have given us. My students were so happy when they received the gifts! It was like Christmas morning mid-year! The joy and giggles that can be heard throughout the room are always and heart-warming to hear. Those giggles and laughter are truly priceless, and for that, I am truly grateful.
As you know daily practice of foundational skills in Kindergarten is of great importance in the development of skills that will be with them all of their lives. The practice of letters and sounds will build a great love of reading as they grow. In kindergarten, much of how we learn is through games, songs and of course fun! The games, magnets, puzzles and letter tiles have made a wonderful addition to our "play".
As the year progresses till the end be assured that these games will not only be continually used, but it will lasts for a few years giving other students the opportunity to play and learn as well. The simple words "thank you" are not enough to express my extreme gratitude to you for the joys and gifts you have brought my students! Thank you!!!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. V.
Unplug Me please! Unplugged Coding & Robotics
Funded Jan 22, 2019My students have been playing now for several months almost on a daily basis with these toys. They love them! Everyday they ask for computer science choice time. They spend time tinkering with the robots, singing and dancing with the dogs and having a great, screen free time. As you already know play is so important in a child's life and by giving your donations to this project, you have contributed to my students' development. For that, I will be eternally grateful! The words thank you are not enough to express my most sincerest gratitude's, but know that the children are really happy and we all really appreciate it!! Thank you!!”
With gratitude,

Coding awakens Mathmaticians
Funded Nov 25, 2018How can I express how truly grateful I am for your interests in donating to my classroom. Your generous donations ensured that my students now have access to wonderful robots. They surely are on their way to becoming coders and mathematicians! Thanks you you, my students have been introduced to Dot, Dash and Botley. These robots can be programmed with an iPad and Botley is programmed through a screen free remote. My students are learning about algorithms, testing out their hypothesis and debugging their codes with these robots. You have opened a whole new world for them and for that, I will be eternally grateful!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. V.
