I am elated at the generosity you have shared. My students will be so excited to sit in cozy chairs that will furnish our new library area. In addition it will give such a boost to our entire classroom library. We will learn how to read, share, and talk to one another in this wonderful space. We will discover and create. Honestly thanking you is an understatement but I am so grateful and hope you know what an impact you made for my class. Wishing you much peace!”

I am so grateful for your generous donation! My Kindergarten class will benefit from these resources over and over again! I hope you realize how important you are! Investing in children brings peace to the world! Funding my classroom with legos, comfortable seating and stem projects brings peace and happiness to all of us!”

It is with a warm heart that I write to thank you for helping provide my students with a very large cozy bright beautiful blue rug!My students meet for large group on this rug roughly 4-5 times a day. Every time the sit they can't help but run their hands through the soft thick fibers of the rug. Prior to this they were sitting on a hard old flat rug that was far from comfortable. They sit comfortably to practice phonemic awareness, morning meeting, calendar and math exercises, as well as read aloud time. They also sit around this circle to practice social awareness exercises such as the Rain Forest similation I talked about when applying for this project. This rug sits rolled up in an empty classroom but I know when we meet back again this group will have the same reaction that last year's class did. They all just wanted to hang out on the rug because it was nice and thick. Such a welcoming place to read books, meet for group instruction or complete a puzzle!!I am forever grateful!”

I am so humbled at your amazing comments and donations. My Kindergarteners will each have a set of leggos to play with during our Construction unit. None of us have been in school all year. Working remotely is challenging enough but not having the toys to explore with and learn is something all together different. I am thrilled they will be able to have these! I cannot thank you enough!Have a happy and safe New Year!”
I am completely humbled by your donations!!!My Kindergarteners did benefit from all of these resources not only during our Construction Unit but throughout the the time we had to explore Materials in our World,(part of Our Lowell Project)!!The magna tiles were such a wonderful addition to the classroom! The laminator will continue to help preserve their work so that they can take it home. Thank you is an understatement but this thanks will not be forgotten. I will continue to think of all of you each and every day. My students did have a ball even if it was for a short time! I know my students next year will also thoroughly enjoy sitting around that awesome blue rug and using the fun materials you sent. My wish for you is peace and happiness always. Thank you!!!!”

Being organized to start Kindergarten is crucial and there's nothing easier than having a nice round rug for everyone to go to!We can practice the alphabet, getting to know one another and learning all about geometric shapes in a large group!
During a social competency lesson, we will sit around this new round rug and mock the start of a rain in the rain forest. Teacher begins patting her legs then the person next to her repeats and continues. It continues to go around the circle while everyone is doing the same but you can't start until your neighbor begins. Then teacher changes to a clap. Then stamping feet (pouring rain) then rubbing hands together(rain slowing down) then stop.
At each table, students will have their name plates. The beauty of these are that they can travel with the students throughout the day and not rip! Most K students need help spelling their first and last name. These name plates will also have the alphabet and numbers from 1-20 on them as well. For any anxious student, this takes needing to know any of that away!!And the name plate is something they use all year! So organization begins on day one with routines. These school supplies will help all of us immensely! Thank you!
