A Robot That Cleans!
Funded May 15, 2024Thank you very much for the iRobot that mops. It is such a useful product. I use it weekly to clean the room. I already assigned this job as a classroom chore so my students can feel useful when they help to keep the classroom tidy and sparkling clean. I do pay my students for their work with play money and at the end of each month they use that money to buy prizes or toys at the classroom store.
The iRobot is easy to use and easy to store. It doesn't take much room either. With a clean room the students and I learn better. We really appreciate your generosity and support you've given us.”

Earth Day, Every Day!
Funded May 7, 2024The project that you've funded for the class is super "awesome". The children adore these books. They're a big hit because of their simple message of reuse, reduce, recycle, and rethink. Human impact on our Earth could negative or positive and as an educator, I have the power to help my class rethinking since our actions affecting our environment and making a difference. They took turn checking out the books and sharing them with their families. So, I really appreciate your kindness. Without your help, it would be more difficult with our learning.
Your generosity is very much appreciated by all of us (students, parents, and me). You've instilled the love of reading books. The students have taken the donated books home for their homework. They've shared these books with their parents and other family members as part of the project.
In addition to books, the children had a chance to create vases of flowers in celebrating their learnings. Once again thank you for your support.”

The food is now part of our classroom store that we visit weekly on Friday. The students purchase various items with the class dollars that they earned doing class chores. through this activity, my students learn to be responsible when they complete their monthly jobs. They're using the learned concepts such as additions and subtractions when they buy the food. So on behalf of the parents and students, I thank you again for making our learning fun. I hope the best things come your way just as the best have come our way.”

Funded Apr 23, 2024Thank you for the beautiful water bottles. All of the students were thrilled to get one. They wanted to give their mother's the bottle instead of keeping it for themselves. They painted the bottles with "awesome" pictures of things they valued the most such as their favorite animals. Some of them even wrote a message to save the Earth or "Happy Mother's Day!"
After painting their bottles, they let those dry before putting stickers onto them. This made their products very unique. The students couldn't wait to give the special gifts to their mothers. Once again, thank you for your support with this wonderful project.”

Funded Jan 30, 2024I would like to thank you for your heartfelt generosity. Your caring gesture of donating the important items to relief griefs is greatly appreciated by both the class and me. The bags of self-care will be given to those in need to relief their griefs of losses.
The class spent a class session to put together self-care items such as tubs of Play-Doh, a bubble wand, a book about loss of love-ones, and many more materials. Some of the students received a bag for themselves since they presented the needs to me.

Your generous donations move us in a way that goes far beyond the materials you provided us. You've touched us with your kindness. We'll never forget your caring gestures. Financially Prudent Students
Funded Sep 3, 2023My class was thrilled when they received your donations of magic tricks, fidget toys, and novelty items for their classroom store. They smiled from ears to ears as they taking turns opening boxes of goodies. You should have seen their delightful faces and excitement squeals along with laughters. I had to contain their elation with explanations of steps in acquiring these items through a financial plan. At the end, they all understood that they need to earn these new materials by working hard on their personal behavior or learning goals. Yes, they also need to save up their class money from doing their class chores too in order to have enough to purchase the items at the end of each month.
Thank you so much for making planning, learning, and saving class money fun and practical. My students will apply what they've learned about money, saving, and earning from the class store experience in their future lives. You sure make a difference.”
