• Integrating STEM with the Lunar New Year!

  I would like to thank you for your heartfelt generosity. Your caring gesture of donating the Lunar New Year novelty toys and decoration kits is greatly appreciated by both the class and me. The students took their time to learn how to use their new training chopsticks which help to build their fine motor skills as well as their perseverance. Also, through this activity, my students learn to be responsible so they can complete their projects within the set time frame. Afterward, they helped me decorate inside and outside of the classroom with beautiful lanterns and lights. So on behalf of the parents and students, I thank you again for making this Lunar New Year fun and meaningful. I hope the best things come your way just as the best have come our way.”

• Boomwhackers Calm the Minds!

  Funded May 21, 2024

  On behalf of my students and their parents, I would like to thank you for the fantastic Boomwackers. The instruments have study materials that make beautiful sounds. The fine-quality plastic also contributes to the wonderful music that the students play.

  The kids are exhilarated to have the Wackers to share with their partners. They started the music lessons a few days ago. Boy, they already created their songs with familiar tunes like "Bingo" and "Apples and Bananas" They incorporated spelling words into rhymes and lyrics to make learning more fun. I'm sure that as the children move along with their music learning they will develop patience and empathy toward one another. They're trained to provide positive feedback as well as working in pairs to make their products.

  Thank you so much for making this dream of mine come true and giving so many students joy and inspiration for future music learning. Who knows, one day one of them will become another "Adam Lambert". We can only do our parts of supporting, guiding, and encouraging students.”

• Financially Prudent Students!

  My class was thrilled when they received your donations of magic tricks, fidget toys, and novelty items for their classroom store. They smiled from ears to ears as they taking turns opening boxes of goodies. You should have seen their delightful faces and excitement squeals along with laughters. I had to contain their elation with explanations of steps in acquiring these items through a financial plan. At the end, they all understood that they need to earn these new materials by working hard on their personal behavior or learning goals. Yes, they also need to save up their class money from doing their class chores too in order to have enough to purchase the items at the end of each month.

  Thank you so much for making planning, learning, and saving class money fun and practical. My students will apply what they've learned about money, saving, and earning from the class store experience in their future lives. You sure make a difference.”

  It is such a joyful occasion to see the project in action. Thank you, thank you, and thank you for your generosity. In a difficult time like this, your support inspires me. Your caring lifts up my spirit. Your generosity deepens my belief that there are many kind people out there.

  The small refrigerator meets the school district safety requirement but it still brings excitement and hope to my class. We plan to use it to store ingredients in making many delicious healthy food. We would like to promote good eating habits. Once again thank you for your support and kindness.”
