Thank you so much to all of you for helping fund my project. I am so excited to use these. We encourage ESOL students to learn English. I know basic Spanish words and help them as best I can. However, it is hard to provide detailed instructions so that they understand what to do. I am a kindergarten teacher and students who come to me often speak no English. These translators will help me give instructions but most importantly, understand them when they need me. You all are greatly appreciated.”
My students are enjoying all the new STEM bin we were able to create using all the new materials. They work hard to get their work done for free time to enjoy them. They get excited when they create something and often want me to take pictures.
The classroom stools are great. They like coming to small group to use the "cool stools". The lap desks come in handy when working on the carpet.
My most favorite thing is seeing them learn to read. The phones come in handy for phonics and listening to themselves read. We use the the word mapping paddles almost everyday in with whole or small group. We're currently learning to count to 10 and the pop it tenfranes have made this and enjoyable experience. Thank you so much for your support.”
With gratitude,

We received the new mats at the end of last school year. Our students are falling asleep faster and sleeping more soundly. They wake up well-rested and ready for the rest of our day. Since we received these mats we see a difference in how alert our students are after waking up from a good nap. Thank you for helping to provide these plush new mats. They are easy to clean and wet resistant as well. The students are loving them. Us teachers love them because they're sturdy and will last for years to come.”

Sleep and being well rested is such an important part of a good education. Pre-K students have an hour of rest time in class each day. It is necessary for their health and is developmentally appropriate for their age. Many of our students do not get a good night’s rest at home and cannot make it through our day. If they don’t get their nap because they toss and turn on our current mats, they sleep through important learning times. Our rest mats are old, worn out, and some are torn. New mats will help them to get comfortable faster which in turn means they sleep longer. When they get a good solid nap they are alert and ready for the second half of our day. This part of the day includes large group literacy time, phonological awareness, a closing activity that changes daily, and story time. Rest time improves mood. They’re able to better regulate emotions which improves the overall behavior and attentiveness of the class. The funding we’re given each year for our classroom goes to consumables and classroom necessities for learning. There isn’t much left to spend on mats. I’m asking for a class set for two reasons. One is because they’re damaged and very much needed but second is because they’re little and they’re all going to want a new mat. No one will want to use an old one if they see the new ones. Please help me purchase a new class. These are also a good investment because they are sturdy, reusable, and the ones I’m requesting are the most durable ones you can buy. You’ll be helping way more than just the 22 students we have this year. You’ll be helping students for years to come.
