Student engagement, learning and fun will increase using these hands-on model building kits from K'nex. These kits allow opportunities for exploration, experimentation and discovery while learning about forces and motion. Students will work in cooperative groups, applying the steps of the engineering design process to design, build and test vehicles. Students will develop STEM skills as well as critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills as they work together to achieve a common goal. In addition to direct science lessons, my students will love to continue using their imaginations while they explore independently and with friends during stations or indoor recess!
