  • Headphones to Focus on Our Online Lessons!

    This is amazing! I can't thank you enough for giving me these headphones for my students. My students didn't have any. Having these new headphones means smooth operation in the i-ready, Reflex Math, and other online programs. These headphones provide a solution to block out the background noise and help them to stay focused. This may also give them the ability to concentrate on what they are learning more efficiently and retain information better which will help my students to succeed. If there are too many distractions, then the child's mind is going to drift to other things.”

    This is amazing! I can't thank you enough for giving me these laptops for my students. I don't have many classroom computers and the ones I do have are old and tend to freeze often. Having these new laptops means smooth operation in the i-ready, Reflex Math, and other online programs. Having more laptops in the classroom means more access to the district mandated internet programs which will help my students to succeed.

    My students faces were full of joy when they opened the boxes and saw the computers inside.

    Compare the passing rate of the programs from the beginning of the school year and now, all my students math and reading scores increased.

    My students are using the district mandate online program and the time they spent increased dramatically having more laptops. The district believes that more time students spent on this program help them with their learning gain.

    My students were so happy to open the box to find new laptops inside.

    One of my students who just arrived to this country with low English proficiency has been using the program with this given laptop and his English is getting better day by day!

These Chromebooks will aid in my implementation of literacy and math centers as well as mandatory district program. I would love to create a station where my students engage in literacy and math centers using the Chromebooks 45 minutes weekly. As a fourth grade teacher, I have also realized the need for technology in my classroom. With the rigorous structure of the Common Core standards, I have students who struggle to meet these expectations. I believe that with the addition of Chromebooks, I will able to add a new level of differentiation to my classroom that will help all my students, with and without special needs, meet the expectations of the common core specifically in reading, and math.
