Funded Apr 5, 2019My students' faces were filled with amusement as they first got to experience the Coding Robots. They had never "played" with something similar before so they were thrilled to discover how they could program the Coding Mouse to reach the cheese wedge.
As they engaged in the coding activities my classroom was filled with conversations happening among each group. They were deeply discussing how to solve problems such as their robot turning left instead of right, or the robot stopping short from reaching the cheese. They were collaborating, using vocabulary, math skills by counting the spots they needed to move, and coding as they programmed the mouse.
