  • Unlocking Teamwork and Learning With an Escape Room Adventure!

    Funded Oct 31, 2024

I cannot thank you enough for your incredible support in bringing our sports-themed escape room to life! Because of your generosity, our students experienced an engaging and hands-on way to develop critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills—all while having fun.

With your help, we had the toolboxes, locks, headbands, and team pennies needed to create an immersive learning experience. These materials allowed our students to step into an exciting challenge where they worked together, communicated effectively, and thought critically to unlock each puzzle. Seeing their excitement as they collaborated to crack codes, solve math problems, and use reading strategies to advance through the escape room was truly rewarding.

Beyond academics, this project taught valuable life lessons. It fostered perseverance, encouraged students to appreciate each other's strengths, and reinforced the importance of empathy and teamwork. These are skills they will carry with them far beyond the classroom.

Your kindness not only provided supplies but also inspired a love for learning in our students. Because of you, they had an experience they'll remember for years to come. Thank you for believing in our classroom and in the power of innovative education. Your generosity made a real difference!”

    With gratitude,

Thank you so much for your generous support of our first-grade classroom! Your contributions have made it possible for us to add Magic Tree House books, Dragon Masters books, and The Night Before First Grade to our library—and the impact has been nothing short of magical.

The Magic Tree House series has already transported my students to incredible places, sparking their curiosity about history and science. They love joining Jack and Annie on their adventures, and I've seen their imaginations soar as they learn through these exciting stories.

The Dragon Masters books have become a classroom favorite for their thrilling tales of bravery, teamwork, and magical dragons. These books have encouraged even reluctant readers to dive into new stories, eager to uncover what happens next.

The Night Before First Grade has been such a wonderful addition as well, helping my students navigate their emotions at the beginning of the school year. It's the perfect story to remind them that they're not alone in their first-grade journey.

  • Get Ready, Get Set...

    Funded Apr 17, 2024

I cannot thank you enough for helping us start our first grade year off on the right foot! Thanks to your generosity, each of my students received a copy of The Night Before First Grade, which helped calm their nerves and get them excited for the school year. We read the story together, and it sparked great conversations about their feelings and what they were looking forward to in first grade. It was the perfect way to ease their transition and create a sense of community right from the start.

The "jitter glitter" activity was another huge hit! The students loved sprinkling a little bit of magic glitter to take away their first-day jitters. It was a fun and reassuring way to help them feel brave and confident as they started this new adventure. I saw many smiles and excited faces as they realized that their jitters were normal and that they had the support of their teacher and classmates to help them through.

The Pop Rocks were an extra special treat that added a burst of fun to our first day celebrations! It gave us all a chance to relax, laugh, and enjoy a moment of excitement together. Thanks to your kindness, the start of our school year was full of joy and wonder, and it set a positive tone for the months ahead. Your contributions have truly made a difference, and we are so grateful!”

  • Arts and Crafts and Music Oh My!

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous contributions to our classroom! The arrival of the JBL speaker, colored pencils, Tempura paints, and AAA batteries has sparked so much excitement among my first graders. They absolutely love expressing their creativity during our art projects, and these new supplies have taken their artwork to a whole new level. The vibrant colors and high-quality materials give them the tools they need to bring their imaginations to life.

The JBL speaker has also become a cherished part of our daily routine. Whether we're playing soft background music to create a calm and focused learning environment, or upbeat songs to energize the students during transitions, the music has made our classroom feel like a special place. The students especially love moving to the rhythm during our music and movement breaks, which helps them stay engaged and ready to learn.

  • Stocking Up on Our Staples

    Funded Apr 24, 2024

I want to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donations, which have provided us with many essential supplies for our first-grade classroom. Your support has made a significant difference in the daily lives of our students, and I am so thankful for your commitment to their education.

Keeping young minds actively engaged in learning takes a lot of creativity and resources. The Play-Doh, clay, and scratch paper you helped provide have been invaluable tools for sparking imagination and encouraging hands-on exploration. These materials allow our students to express themselves creatively, develop fine motor skills, and engage in activities that make learning fun and meaningful.

In addition to these creative supplies, your contributions have helped restock items that we constantly need. The plastic cups, batteries, and paper plates may seem like simple items, but they are essential for our daily routines. Whether it's for science experiments, classroom projects, or just keeping our learning environment organized, these supplies play a crucial role in ensuring that everything runs smoothly.”
